    That's just his marketing.
Musk isn't an inventor.  He's an entrepreneur.  But he really really wants to be Tony Stark, so he pushes this image as the genius inventor.

It was hideously racist I'm afraid. If you Google Diane Abbottopotamus meme you should find it though.

At first I laughed at it, but if you read it again, it's actually very sad. A good example of how identity politics is massively destructive .

It costs down here (Kent) about £15 a day for cement mixer hire, and £25 a day for a basic whacker plate. + VAT.
I'd definitely recommend at least one of them. It might be a bit cheaper if you're not in the SE.

Elon has always been fucking weird. Look at his family history and his relationships. He started dating Johnny Depp's golddigger ex after seeing her in a film and becoming "completely obsessed". The good thing about being an inventor is people will write off all your personality faults as "eccentricities".

0.4% of £250M is still £1M a month EBITDA. Classic business mistake, relying on 1 supplier - and M&S at that, FFS.

    *rolls up sleeves*
Talk about putting all your eggs in one basket.
    Badum tish!

At a guess M&S didn't renew because they got found out, people weren't happy that a "premium" brand were using this backstreet company with no regard to welfare (staff or animals) and putting their dodgy chicken bits into a £5 rip-off ready meal.

That last one looks like a modern day hottentot.  A sad story but worth reading/ looking at... kind of.

Looking at the installation guide - they're going for 6mm crushed stone over 20mm, can see this working much better than any type of loose sand, will need consolidating though and realistically looking to hire a whacker plate, can still use temporary boards set in ground though at the right fall to provide a guide for levels and slope.

You can sprinkle some concrete mix into the sand. It'll absorb water and set.

Suspect the aubergine is a mini one. The melon looks great!

spunko2010 reacted to DTMark in Site speed - is Dosbods slow?
I think it probably does load more slowly on a mobile. Android 7, Edge browser.
Just now and again there is a noticeable delay loading the home page. By which I mean a pause between the request and the page starting to come back, when it does, it then snaps back quite quickly.
That would, for me, be in the evening when I'm not on my PC.
But then that could simply be when the site is busiest - so not actually to do with the device - and I would guess that the home page is the one that has to run the most database queries to build.

Prepare yourself for tomorrow, it's unfortunately Amazon Prime Day (TM). I'm already seeing undeserving bennie claimants salivating at the prospect of a -5% net negative discount.

Don't know about Romania, I thought that was designer puppies, but people bring them over from Greece etc after going on holiday. My family did that, and I think they regret it every day but won't admit it. The dog is untrainable, a costly mistake that they have to live with for years.
