But that`s the problem you are confirming and bolstering their own fears of something which you yourself consider to be bullshit, they need to see a different narrative
IMO none of this will stop until  people say enough is enough

A mask does fuck all, apart from making the wearer look a bit silly.

Wouldn't not wearing a mask help them realise it's all a bit overblown though?  I mean still keep your distance etc but maskless and one of your no doubt winning smiles will do more to calm them than more group think

#Sweden they have paid the piper
We are paying on the never never ,as in trying to postpone the inevitable for some unknow reason ,as the NHS was only at 60% capacity March to June and we are now seeing deaths @ 8% of what we were seeing in the spring
Anyone would think they want destroy the economy for some reason

I'm just going to repost this as you've got that same sly tactic as Hopeless where you ignore an answer and by a few pages further in the thread it is forgotten

I'm a private person, so I haven't mentioned this before.  I don't need or want any sympathy from anyone about this, but this is why I think masks are a load of bollocks:
First, I know of two people who have been tested positive with Covid-19.  Both work in the NHS, and both had flu-like symptoms.  Neither isolated from their spouses.  In both cases, their spouse experienced some mild symptoms, but tested negative for Covid-19, even though they were still sleeping in the same bed with their infected other half.
Secondly, my dad (in his late 80s), was admitted to hospital in May having had an epileptic seizure.  He had been in hosptal a few times over the last few years with seizures, so this was nothing new, but this one was one of the most severe.  He was tested upon admission for Covid-19 but the test was negative.  This time, due to the coronavirus restrictions, none of his family were permitted to visit him whilst he was recovering.
About a week later, the day he was due to be released, he started to experience a shortness of breath, and so was kept in for observation.  He was diagnosed with "viral pneumonia".  As nobody had visited him in all the time he was in hospital, it must have been one of the staff, whilst following all their stringent hygenic practices and wearing all their PPE, that managed to infect him.  He died four days later.
Should I forgive the NHS staff member that infected him?
Well, I do.  Because shit happens.

From my own, personal observations, based on a 100% rate from an admittedly tiny sample size of 2, I disagree.  If you can sleep for several nights in the same bed with an infected person and not catch it, despite breathing all over each other and the bedclothes for hours on end, what difference is wearing a mask going to make?
I completely bought in to the initial lockdown.  I did not leave the house between mid March and mid June.  At all.  As I live on my own, in all that time, the only people I spoke to in person were delivery drivers.  The isolation was tough.
Since mid June, the only places I have been are to are, my best mate's house, my sister's house, her daughter's house, my dad's funeral and to the internment of my dad's ashes.
I have not visited a shop, I have not visited a pub.  I have done my bit to help stop the spread of the virus.
However, for all my compliance, I refuse to buy or wear a mask.  I will not go anywhere where I am required to wear one.
If the government tell me I am not to visit my family, they can fuck off.

Fuck off. We've probably all been parts of a chain of transmission in the past that ended with someone vulnerable catching something bad for them.

Why ,it`s what just about all antibodies do and this is the mechanism that vaccine's use ,they stimulate the body to produce antibodies which die off but the cells that make them remember how to make them if needed again
The fact that there are 4 known reinfections out of a reported 43,000,000 cases tells anyone with half a brain there is immunity and it looks to be long lasting
They have found T cell immunity in Sars 1 survivor's 17 years later
If there was no immunity everyone that got/gets infected would die ,be dead

This could well lead to civil war ,the response  of the state and the public to the teachers murder is the cause of this attack ,it`s akin to a declaration of war
Then you have the political problem ,Macron`s on his arse ,these attacks will have empower Le Pen massively the only counter Macron has is to "get tuff on Islam" this is going to inflame the situation even more
