I hate the RSPCA. I have a clause in my will that leaves funds to ensure any pets I have at my death are taking care off, I have specifically excluded the RSPCA from being involved. My will writer said this was quite a common occurrence.

I was listening to a live web cast last night from some Hollywood old school writers talking about SJW stuff destroying major franchises.
They pointed out that the recent Star War films basically killed off the franchise shortly after Disney bought the franchise for billions from George Lucas. Why? Disney put Kathleen Kennedy in charge and the films basically emasculated Luke and Han, killed them off and replaced them with feisty female characters that can do everything and do no wrong, whilst making the occasional digs at men.
The arrogance of what they did to Luke and Han Solo - the two characters that millions of diehard SW fans wanted to see - is breath-taking in its arrogance and stupidity. They have done it now. They could have milked Luke and Han for decades to come but, instead, they killed them off. The franchise IS the characters of Luke and Hans - and Disney allowed someone to kill them off and replace them with some unknown, annoying feisty female. Amazing!
The audience ratings for Star Trek: Discovery are apparently so dire that CBS will not release them. Why? Well they created a new character - Michael Burnham - who is actually female and have been busy using her to rewrite the entire Trek cannon as being this super woman who solves all problems, does no wrong, triumphs despite stupid white males getting in her way and even now being responsible for shaping a young Spock to become whatever he becomes. They have inserted her into the start of the Trek Canon in order to create the impression that all subsequent Trek is due to her female feistiness.
In other words, like they did with Star Wars, they have taken an established franchise with tens of millions of fans and basically rubbed their noses in it, destroyed the legacy, destroyed the history, killed off major characters or themes and reinvented it as a pro SJW anti white male political broadcast.
There are rumours that each episode gets less than 100,000 viewers despite costing 15 million bucks per episode. There have been hasty expensive re-shoots also.
In the coming days a new Marvel film is due out - Captain Marvel - and there are already rumours that men are depicted as wusses in the film with Captain Marvel solving all problems. The fans of Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, etc, are fearful - due to one clip that has been released - that Captain Marvel will become the dominant Marvel character in a future Avengers' film with the males of Ironman, Captain America, etc, all bowing to her female superiority. In the coming Captain Marvel film the male character of Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson, is rumoured to have also become a wuss to superior Captain Marvel.
Which brought the discussion round to Doctor Who - Whitaker will be in at least one more series because the So-Called BBC has an agenda. They politicalised the role by making her female, ignoring the numerous strong female characters in the show over the decades. They also destroyed a male role model and hero to generations of boys - again deliberate IMPO.
The female Doctor Who saw audiences plunge in the US. Fans will argue the toss about it but the general audience just switched off in their millions. Some reports of an 80% audience drop.
Star Wars, Star Trek and Marvel films will eventually ditch the SJW political stuff as Hollywood is a business and it is dawning on the money makers that SJW preaching is not making money. In fact it is costing billions. Although, what has been done to both SW and ST it will be very hard indeed to get the fans back. I have heard some Hollywood types say that they think that Star Wars and Star Trek are both dead.
But the So-Called BBC does not care. They will carry on with Doctor Who being a propaganda piece against males because of the licence fee. You even wonder if Doctor Who is ultimately destroyed as a franchise that perhaps some at the So-Called BBC will triumph in having destroyed a character who has been a hero to hundreds of millions of boys the world over?
The licence fee gives an arrogance to programming that is now out of control IMPO. Not just Doctor Who but virtually the entire news output on TV and Radio.
I consider some of their presenters in the same way that I think of William Joyce - Lord Haw Haw. Will they care? Nope. They are not held accountable.

I know Madeira well. If you want to live with loads of Brits in massive English style houses then go to Monte at top of the cable car. But you will get many days of cloud in the winter.
Funchal is always sunny. The cloud forms behind and doesn't approach the coastline.
If you want to go to possibly one of the most spectacular places on Earth...then it's the Valley of the Nuns. I've walked all the way down through chestnut trees to the villages below.
Walking the Lavadas is amazing...but choose carefully. Black graded ones can be terrifying. The interior of the Island reminds me of Scotland. A good start and really beautiful lavada starts at the trout farm. You can take a bus there. The Lavada starts behind the restaurant. You'll be walking along sheer drops...but safe....and through tunnels and beautiful forests.

Could apply just about everywhere. Carlin was always on the money. Worth a quick reminder:
"The real owners are the big wealthy business interests that control things and make all the important decisions. Forget the politicians, they're an irrelevancy. The politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice. You don't. You have no choice. You have owners. They own you. They own everything. They own all the important land. They own and control the corporations. They've long since bought and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the statehouses, the city halls. They've got the judges in their back pockets. And they own all the big media companies, so that they control just about all of the news and information you hear. They've got you by the balls. They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying lobbying to get what they want. Well, we know what they want; they want more for themselves and less for everybody else."
"But I'll tell you what they don't want.  They don't want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don't want well-informed, well-educated people capable of critical thinking. They're not interested in that. That doesn't help them. That's against their interests. They don't want people who are smart enough to sit around the kitchen table and figure out how badly they're getting fucked by a system that threw them overboard 30 fucking years ago.
"You know what they want? Obedient workers people who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork but just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, reduced benefits, the end of overtime and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it. And, now, they're coming for your Social Security. They want your fucking retirement money. They want it back, so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street. And you know something? They'll get it. They'll get it all, sooner or later, because they own this fucking place. It's a big club, and you ain't in it. You and I are not in the big club."
    "This country is finished."

I think ADA (Cardano) is well worth a look. Very similar to Ethereum, enabling developers to run block-chain based applications, like smart contracts. But the Block-chain architecture appears far better. It has a 'cryptocurrency layer' and separate 'computation layer' for designing / running contracts. In Ethereum both layers are knitted together.
ADA is at an early stage hence priced at $0.045. I've bought and holding them on an exchange.  I don't like leaving coins on exchanges and usually transfer them to my hard wallet. But the Nano S doesn't support ADA yet...although this is changing with the next ledger update.
I'm just going to park them for a couple of years and hopefully they'll overtake ETH.

People voted Brexit because of FOM and all the other "left behind (the few)" reasons.  It's not exactly as if things have got better - Brexit has shown the breakdown of democracy, blatant self interest and spin, unwarranted and false elitism, widespread arrogance and distain for the ordinary folk, a traitorous civil service, a voracious EU, a corrupt MSM, etc, etc, etc.  You bet!  This genie is well out of the bottle!

Totally agree. The way western society is going will only lead to less stability and more dissatisfaction for both men and women.
I think the destruction of the idea of the traditional family in western society is deliberate to enable perceived easier management of the masses by elites. They’re mistaken IMO by thinking that such a deep rooted idea in humans can be easily cast aside. I hope I’m right about that.
I think it was the late Desmond Morris who said western civilisation would regret and suffer by abandoning the pair bond and the creation of family units. I agree

IMO the histrionics of women in the workplace is because they really don’t want to be there! Not their fault because women have been forced into full time work due to economic survival reasons.
The majority of women I know see their job as an extra chore above raising kids and keeping house and they don’t like the extra burden. Most hate their jobs too and only doing it for the needed money for family finances!
    Just saying!

Wahoo reacted to Frank Hovis in Police shoot person dead in Coventry
The speculation and research, on here and on Twitter, has become essential because of the huge suppression of information by the police and media for their own political purposes.
The repeated failure to properly describe suspects such as yesterday's train attacker because it would then identify their ethnicity is dangerous as it acts against early capture of the suspect and so leaves them free to re-offend.
The doorman murdered in Mayfair now turns out to be islamists trying to get into a sex party; and probably not to serve drinks.
There is a very clear conspiracy to suppress information from the official and mainstream channels so it is here that you do actually get to the full story behind the heavily redacted MSM reporting.
This isn't imagined.  Do you think that in any case prior to the last twenty years the police would have given a description of a knife attacker's clothes ("new looking trainers") and yet fail to mention that he was black so making the odds of a member of the public identifying them pretty non-existent?

Wahoo got a reaction from Adarmo in Woodburner installing.
You don't need a registered installer. I did it myself and got the local council (Building Regs)  to certify it. It was a piece of piss.
    1. Send off your fee (£60 I paid) to local council.
    2. Buy the stainless liner, adapter to fit stove pipe above burner, suspending cowl and fire cement to seal any joints.
    3. Buy some mild steel plate to make a register plate which goes over the stove pipe and seals off the chimney.
    4. Buy an end cap to protect the pipe as it passes down the chimney.
    5. Buy some flue insulation material and a length of fire rope.

Drop the flue down the chimney...I used a roof ladder. Make sure the flue is the right way around....it has arrows printed on it which point upwards.
If your chimney goes through bends, attach a cord to the cap end and get someone to pull as you feed it down the chimney.
Drill a hole in the register plate where the stove pipe will pass through using a small grinder.
Attach the adapter to the stove pipe  with screws supplied...then attach liner to the same adapter.
Fix the register plate into position. I used angle iron to do this.
Go back onto the roof and cut the pipe so you can attach to the cowl.
Pour the insulation down the chimney and fill the space around the liner.
Tighten the band around the flexipipe and cowl, place the cowl on the pot, then tighten the cowl with the larger band to the pot.
Go back down and connect stove pipe to the fire and seal with cement. Seal the gap around the stove and register plate with the fire rope.
    Job done.
get inspector out and they will sign it off.
It cost me about £250 for the job. I was quoted £1400 plus vat.
When the certificate arrives...copy the Building Regs number onto the aluminium plate (which you can buy with the other kit) and stick it somewhere, such as near the consumer box.

It was very easy....apart from going onto the roof with the roofing ladder.  Hint don't be tempted to push pipe up the chimney....it won't work.

Any questions just pm me and I'll give you a ring to help out.
