I hadn't seen those at the time. I'm obviously naive, or rather didn't expect what I got. Inherently there is nothng wrong with a single  picture of a child in a swimming costume or glamour outfit and posing. Many parents now perveresly, tart their children up for glamour competitions, make-up, clothe sthe lot, even transgender them which is child abuse IMO. There are plenty of electronic images out there. But images collected en-masse are rather unpleasant and concerning.

People on reddit and twitter were linking people involved with Wayfair as being people who allegedly have had some association with Ghislaine or her family. They are then making the enormous leap that this has all come out now because Ghislaine is exposing them as part of a plea deal. All that is missing are a few posts from Q. I am sure they will be along shortly.

I've only just put 2+2 together and realised that she's Robert Maxwell's daughter, I always knew his Yacht was called Lady Ghislane but just never made the connection!

The commuter economy is massive. Fuel tax, train, bus and tube fares. Taxis, coffees, sandwiches, the 1000s of small cafe and hot food places rely on commuters. Then there's the office space and everything that services them, including maintenance and drinking water deliveries, no to mention the energy spend. They can't have everyone working from home but they've hyped up the virus so much that companies like mine are saying a return to the office is purely optional, we won't make you. What can they do? What will they do?

I no longer have to interact with my toddler-owning colleagues and all their various bugs, which is a massive win for me.  I also believe that a lot of sickness is people having to take time off for the sort of domestic/caring duties that can now be accommodated with home-working.  No more sick days for hangovers or fed-up stress or feeling too emotional to go into work because the cat died or you had a vicious row with your partner or a really bad night's sleep due to the kids or the menopause.  The list is endless.

I'm going to ask the guy who manages the work programme how much sickness levels have dropped in the last six months as I know for a fact that in my work-group of 20 only one chap has had , I think 4 days on the sick in the last 3 months.
The open-plan office where we used to work was riddled with bugs 'n' viruses and I think not being in it has reduced sickness absence by a factor of 6.
Less sick = less people on the books = more profit.

Johnson massively overcooked his mock-Churchill March 23rd lockdown speech, he scared most of the population completely shitless with the overly dramatic eve of war tone. The evidence for this is that ministers expected about 20% of children to keep attending school (the list of key workers who could keep their kids in school was pretty broad) but in fact only 1-2% of children did. Then instead of sticking to 2 months of lockdown as the deputy chief medical officer said it would be at the start they dragged it out for more than a month longer and did almost nothing to prepare people for lockdown to lift. The lifting itself was completely bungled, rules changing every 2 days so nobody knows what they can or can't do.
Now here's the consequences, everybody still staying at home, government begging people to come back outside.
Lots of people said he wouldn't be a good PM, they were right.

    I was thinking this the other day. All the terminology can fuck off;
    Social distancing
    isolation
    the new normal
    ppe
    flatten the cunting curve
    pods
    bubbles

    fuck off.

I hate all of it. The terminology of "lockdown". Faded rainbows eveywhere. Stupid adverts with some camp northern bank twat cheerfully announcing "These are strange times at the moment". No they're not "strange"; they're fucking awful.  And not because of some virus.

Don't forget this is about expanding power and getting government into the minutiae of life. Just like with money - 'oh well it's no bother using card instead of cash' except that the physical medium of exchange becomes digitised and 100% controllable and monitored. 'Hypothetical' preferred scenario envisaged in Rockefeller Foundation paper from 2010 on how to put the world on the path to the utopia of authoritarian centralised global government:
During the pandemic, national leaders around the world flexed their authority and imposed airtight rules and restrictions, from the mandatory wearing of face masks to body-temperature checks at the entries to communal spaces like train stations and supermarkets.
Mask wearing in confined communal indoor spaces might have made sense as part of a flatten the curve strategy in early march, at this point normalising mandatory mask wearing is a combination of behavioural and narrative manipulation. Anyone thinking a medical mask will protect them from aerosol transmission is mistaken, there is a gap either side of the nose airborne particles will go straight in, even proper respirator masks aren't perfect and more gets past them than one might expect. Might possibly slow down sneezes. Chances are touching the face whilst adjusting the mask is a more likely transmission path anyway.
The alternative of staying home and ordering online put  us on the path to freedom of movement going and also digitises and centralises access to resources. It's about nudging the herd in the desired direction and making changes less perceptible. Got to be a conspiracy theory? .... right?
