About $1.20 a litre right now:
    https://www.globalpetrolprices.com/Canada/Ontario/gasoline_prices/#:~:text=Ontario Gasoline prices%2C liter&text=The average value for Ontario,period is 1.65 Canadian Dollar.
So about 70p vs about £1.15. On the other side of the balance, insurance in Toronto is expensive. I'll likely end up paying around $1500 a year for comprehensive cover - so ~ £900.

I was once told by a middle aged Japanese woman that I was the second best boss she’d ever had. She’d worked for a load of places all over the planet so I think it was intended as a compliment!

I can only speak as I see. My 11 year old has 3 kids in his year claiming to be trans and another handful openly out as gay/lesbian at the age of 11.
How on Earth could he not be confused by that, he still thinks his dick is just for peeing out of.

Reminds me of the old joke.
A Jewish mother took her son on the bus and asked for one adult and a child.
The conductor looked at her son and said 'He looks a lot older than 14'.
The mother replied 'Can I help it if he worries?'

Well, take the ECJ away and get rid of the human rights act and maybe she can do something. Otherwise, it’ll continue to be the likes of Lady Cunting Hale who make the actual decisions, not anyone with any kind of democratic mandate or accountability.

From day one we should have had MI6 running campaigns to destabilise the EU negotiations and relations between the countries. Release all about leading pols corruption in the EU, who is having affiars etc.
Building the navy up for in shore work, refusing any boats in the channel with illegals in etc.
We should also be looking at hitting french industry and german industry too,

I'm old enough to remember the old nationalized state monopolies and the reality is they varied a lot from pretty good (e.g. National Grid) to absolutely shit (e.g. British Leyland). On balance the distribution was skewed to the shit end though and the combined losses, paid for out of general taxation, were enormous.

Yes, there really was. But you’re off in conspriraloon land where the whole deal was staged by shadowy figures in the background so literally nothing is going to persuade you otherwise.

TheBlueCat got a reaction from Happy Renting in Kosher or scam? Amazon refund.
It’s legitimate. You likely ordered slightly after the price was reduced but got charged the old price due to some cached values. Last thing Amazon wants to be accused of is overcharging people.

When you have a gazillion products being simultaneously browsed by a gazillion customers caches are absolutely still a thing. You’re probably thinking of your browser cache though in this instance, which is somewhat different from what I’m referring to.

Edit to add: of course, that the media had to go all the way to Bordeaux and ask an imam already living with death threats from other muslims to find one willing to categorically condemn the slaughter of the teacher tells you something too.

I guess as charities have loads of money, they are fair game now?
    https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/18807798.woman-takes-brockenhurst-village-trust-court/
A WOMAN has taken a charity in the village where she lives to court after claiming that yobs using a neighbouring play area have taught her young child swear words.
