    Goading the Graun with Trump

I have alluded before to setting up a spoof comment account with our friends at The Guardian, whose obsession with Trump causes him to see Trump-related fault in everything from Bangkok street food to seismic activity. Today's mundane effort (as the article actually was about Trump and I usually target obscure stories to shoehorn him into) is here: https://www.theguardian.com/culture/2017/oct/11/late-night-tv-trump-iq-boast-tillerson#comment-106646171 My alter-ego, Trumpetsilencer, once again battled Trump from an off the wall standpoint, suggesting that Trump/Pence should be replaced by Meryl Streep / LeBron James. The interesting part is not my silly ramblings, but the weight of Graun approval for my posts. My idiot post at the link immediately got four upvotes, the saner guy rebutting me, none. In fact, I have found that totally sane responses to my insane guff actually get deleted, whereas I have not had a single deletion, despite each and every pisstake being littered with baseless accusations of white supremacist plots and the like. Hillarious.
  2. Stupid I'd as stupid does http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4705376/London-won-t-roll-red-carpet-Trump-says-Sadiq-Khan.html still whinging on about how very dare trump think he can visit the uk and London. Is this deliberate on the part of khan or has he an agenda here? I don't care what section of the so called community he actually represents, he is th major of London. He needs to be diplomatic trump is the most powerful person on the planet. He appears to have a special place for the uk (god knows why). He is prepared to do trade deal and seems to support brexit And has little time for the eu. Why then go out of you way to piss him off? Idiot

    Deforestation in da house

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-43941146 A tree gifted to President Donald Trump by French President Emmanuel Macron has disappeared. The pair planted the sapling, taken from the site of a World War One battle in north-east France, during Mr Macron's state visit last week. Mr Macron said the tree would be a reminder of "these ties that bind us". But a Reuters photographer on Saturday took a shot of only a yellow patch of grass on the White House south lawn where the tree once stood. 😂

    Land Wind

Nasty Trump is threatening a trade war with China because China is stealing intellectual property. Here's a Chinese car called a "Land Wind". It looks strangely familiar... It certainly evoques a deep seated memory I have... How can China rip off western designs and get away with it? I think Trump is right....

  8. "According to colour psychologists, one of the most captivating trends is the rise of the colour grey. With all the uncertainty and insecurity, we are facing; such as Brexit and last year’s US Elections, grey is an unconscious move towards something safe." https://www.petrolprices.com/news/black-favourite-car-colour/
  9. So, after last nights Alabama election defeat for Trump's man, I dont think Ive ever seen so much bigotry and hate on my social media feed. Funny thing is, its all the anti-Trumps that are behind it. With no sense of irony at all, so it seems. I think Ive only seen one post rejoycing in the victory/defeat that didnt include casual racism (vs whites) or sexism (vs men). Or more typically, both. It's just... shakes head. I suppose I could just unfollow the lot of them. But then who would I talk to except this echo chamber of White Male Priviledge?
  10. http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/11/20/trump-establishment-merkel-macron/ While mainstream media in the West mocks Donald Trump for his poll ratings, the U.S. president enjoys greater support than do three of Europe’s most prominent leaders, according to a new analysis. Recent polls which showed the U.S. leader’s approval ratings hovering in the low to mid-40s were reported by a gloating media underneath headlines such as ‘Trump Only Sees Polls That Make Him Feel Good, and There Aren’t Many’, and ‘Americans Think Trump Is Really Bad at Being President’. But, according to Zogby Analytics, the leaders of France, Germany, and Britain — all of whom are far less maligned by the liberal media than Trump — are each less popular than the U.S. president. The pollster’s survey of people in Britain found UK leader Theresa May suffers from “extremely low popularity”, with her approval rating at 28 per cent favourable, 61 per cent unfavourable. “Her numbers are low among all demographics, but are much lower among younger adults aged 18-29 (16 per cent favourable/71 per cent unfavourable) compared with adults 50+ (36 per cent favourable/53 per cent unfavourable),” noted the public opinion research company. “A majority of adults in France and the UK dislike Macron and May; nearly half of adults in Germany dislike Merkel,” declared Zogby Analytics, presenting their survey results under the headline “Citizens of France, Germany and UK Not Happy with Macron”. According to the pollster’s research, French President Emmanuel Macron was similarly unpopular, with approval among people surveyed in France standing at 28 per cent, while 52 per cent expressed disapproval at the arch-globalist’s rule. Described as having “come from nowhere” to form the En Marche party earlier this year, the former financier and Hillary Clinton ally was “hailed as a centrist who could bridge the major parties” when elected president, Zogby Analytics notes. “The honeymoon period is now over and his favourable/unfavourable ratings reflect this change of heart among French citizens,” the pollster stated. As Breitbart London reported in September, Macron used his speech at the United Nations (UN) to position himself as a globalist “anti-Trump”, countering the U.S. president’s strong pro-sovereignty message by declaring that France and other nations “are irremediably linked to one another in a community of destinies for today and tomorrow”. The voice of globalism https://t.co/flVeGnJPUB — Breitbart London (@BreitbartLondon) February 25, 2017 German acting Chancellor Angela Merkel — who was hailed as the new leader of the liberal, anti-nationalist “free world” by a press horrified by U.S. voters choosing Trump as the successor to Barack Obama — was reported by Zogby Analytics to have an approval rating of 40 per cent, with disapproval at 49 per cent of Germans surveyed. Fighting to extend her reign as chancellor to a historic fourth term, Merkel is “looking to broker a governing coalition on the home front and take on the challenges associated with Brexit and European Union reform”, according to the pollster. However, “outside and inside of Germany, Merkel’s favourability rating has … been taking a hit,” it reported, noting she is much more favourably viewed by high earners and graduates than by low earners and non-college graduates.'
  11. It is interesting how silent the So-Called BBC is about the Kathy Griffin image / video of her holding up the bloodied head of Trump. I was just reading about it and imagined the endless coverage that the So-Called BBC would give to someone doing that with an image of Hilary Clinton or Obama. She is apologising like crazy now - due to public outrage and to the Secret Service investigating her. I wonder if she would have apologised if a load of US luvies had voiced support for her? It beggars disbelief that she and her photographer thought such a thing was perfectly fine. What message was she trying to convey to people by simply raising a bloodied head of Trump and silently holding it to camera? To murder Trump? How else can you interpret that image? No wonder the US Secret Service is investigating her. 'I went too far': Kathy Griffin apologizes for posting a video of Trump's 'severed head' on social media after Secret Service suggests she will be investigated for threatening the president Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4556566/Kathy-Griffin-cuts-Trump-s-HEAD-outrageous-stunt.html#ixzz4ieOwkmwy

Trump is said to have gone cold on the idea of a state visit to the UK. He seems to be concerned about the public's reaction to his crass comments about Siddiq Khan on Twitter. http://Trump state visit ‘on hold’ http://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/b762c3bc-4ebf-11e7-bb68-01a62c2a3512
