I have noticed quite a lot of blatantly unoccupied houses with for sale or to let signs up in the last month or so.

One particular one that stands out is an 18th Century row of six cottages in a nice location that has 1 for sale and 2 for rent, can't recall seeing any of these up previously.

That is good news. Though the Boris led Tory party will be well aware and will no doubt try and put life back into the zombie housing market.

But thatll be free market "rent to buy", not the socialist "rent to buy" Labour would no doubt offer.

Rent to buy just sounds like having a mortgage, but now with direct state handouts to get more houses built.

We're going to get a Boris budget in September so not too long to wait to see what "help" the free market Tory party will conjure up.

The paper by JRM and his chum who got to split £50,000 between them for writing; where they claim taxing landlords puts up rents is the logic that this lot have, as obviously all landlords would drop the rent if taxes were lowered for them!

Any more props will lead to a Corbyn govt. surely one of them has the gumption to realise this.

Besides Brexit,it's the same govt by the 1% for the 1%
