K+S for instance has massive assets in Canada, but the currency the parent company is in doesnt matter because they will be valued against the value of the commod under the company.Commods are solf in $ so if the Euro did collapse then companies selling things in $ would be big gainers. As part of a balanced portfolio i wouldnt worry about the affect of currency on the share price, but more the commod itself against the underlying currency.

Think this answered the second question in my PM post above, thanks.

Spoke to soon.

https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/markets/article-9027621/amp/Sirius-Minerals-faces-legal-bid-shareholder-group-rescue.html

The legal claim would centre on allegations that Sirius misled investors about the state of its financial health before a failed fundraising last autumn. It is seeking to win compensation for former investors

From whom?

The Financial Times has spoken to a number of people who have worked on the project who said that the shaft-sinking timelines developed by Sirius would be difficult to achieve.

They also said that Anglo had ended the contract of its shaft-sinking contractor DMC Mining Services in July, transferring most of the staff to its payroll.

Basically, the plan the Sirus was toting around for production by 2024 was waaaaay out.

This matters, in terms of Sirius as was, as the each year production was out would put huge extra costs on the cost of the project esp. considered its debt and zilch income.

They are fly a plane low and slow over a square ~Whitby to ~Ravenscar.

Doing a square with ~50m meter scan gaps.

They are scanning using a v sensitive super duper sensors, looking at gravitation fields.

Theyll be looking for faults and type of rock.

Its the 1 year anniversary.

They are double checking the geology before digging out the long mines.
