I may have a look for some Tai Chi videos.

I have been to a few classes and not been particularly impressed by the teaching so think that this may be one skill that is better learned from a video you can stop / start and replay.

Suggestions welcome.

Going out daily with junior to play football (I'm shit at it, but that's not the point). No one else there when we go (12 till 1). I'm spending more "quality time" with my son now than before the quarantine!

I'm contributing to an open source music production project. Who knows how long my enthusiasm will last given I have to pick the whole thing apart and learn some new tech before I can be productive, but at least it will move on a seemingly abandoned project.

Covid19 and life to go

I'm also thinking of learning about Facebook live for some training sessions

I was just wondering this morning what will have happened to certain, um, ladies incomes.  I wonder if the cam feeds are rocketing at the moment if loads of wimmin' are at home and thinking of extra income streams.

I may do some research on this important study post haste!

It'd be bees for me. Nothing else.

Wanking.

What with sex being off the menu.

Although TBF it's not really a new hobby, not as such.

You will self indulge to a program on Big Brother's telescreen, or not at all.

That's reminded me.

I actually saw a "Bees in Transit" van last month.  Ordinary car derived van but with pictures of bees where the back windows would be and CAUTION BEES IN TRANSIT written on the back.

I guess it has an internal rig to keep hives and stop the bees escaping; maybe it was cooled to keep them passive.

Either way I wouldn't want to be near it if it crashed.

They would steal your pollen, and make off with it. I want to know what our expensive police are doing about it.

Yep.

I've also discovered that they digitised the Report of the Voyages of HMS Challenger 1872-1876.

Beautiful and historically significant piece of work for any Oceanography enthusiasts out there.

One of these?

When you're moving a lot you use a flat bed truck so they stay cool.

We have a sign to go on the car when we pick swarms up.

Stupid question, but do you seal them up, or drive really slowly - so that the bees that get out can keep up?

Or just write off the workers that escape. If so, what do they go and do? Wander around and find another queen?

Was fascinated by your post a while ago about collecting swarms, and - AIUI - flyposting*/advertising for when people found/were hassled by a swarm.

* should that be beeposting?

Proper sign written van, smaller car derived van rather than Transit.

It caught my eye because it was clearly a specialist business but I didn't appreciate that there was a business in moving them. I thought people just moved them themselves as you do.

Bees are often moved around in America. They have shit for brains.
