I'm ok with indikit houses, as long as they are not tiny n well built, which is never the case.

My first run in with modern estates was in the early 90s, when I was working down south and got dropped off in a late 80s estate in the East if Reading, Bagshotty sprawl.

1000s of houses that looked tge same. Loads of cul de sacs. No shops, no pubs, no schools, no parks, nothing but crappy houses with drives.

It was like being in a sensory deprivation tank. I could not get any sense if direction.
