After all the shit we have all put up with they should be all fined the maximum on the spot. I'd  say arrested but not worth the cost or admin. Hit them in the wallet.

Cunts.

The Pavilion House store opened at 11am, offering entry to only those with NHS identification to allow them to take advantage of a 50% off sale.

Scarborough Police stepped in to shut the store, which was open one day ahead of coronavirus restrictions being relaxed nationally.

NHS is one of the largest employers in the world, not just the UK.

Edit: I previously wrote the NHS was the third largest employer in the world which isn't true apparently.

Hadn't read the legislation in the end.

Be nice if they could and would though.

It is about 6% of the UK working population.

But that's just direct employees --  I think if you include indirect (contract staff, cleaners, GPs, etc) then it gets close to 10% of the working population.

Why are people so keen to shop?  I find the whole thing rather bizarre.

I think it is an IQ related issue, the lower it is the greater the desire to shop against all odds and common sense.

There I have said it low IQ.

More importantly, if they work for the NHS, how come they can queue in the middle of the day?

This was Primark in Southampton - town was heaving.

I didn't buy anything but was on the perimeter scouting out the crowds.
