Well have you ever looked at a native apple tree in June? (the apples are still very small and not yet ripe)

You need to make a lamb Keema. Excellent use of peas. But what the feck is this talk of sprouts. It is ASPARAGUS season. Best. Vegetable. Ever.

I use it as food. Others may do as they wish. I don't judge.

Ah, never thought of that. Where do bramleys come from all year round?  I thought they would be put into storage.

I use them when I whip naked oiled women with my Welsh leek and get a thing out of watching the sprouts bounce up and down on their bound boobies.

Or possibly I like to fry them up as part of bubble & squeak. Then dip them in spicy brown sauce. The sprouts and not the women.

Apples generally ripen between September and November. You do get some earlier varieties which you can pick Las early as ate July though.

They do store well though (particularly if stored in a nitrogen-rich atmosphere cold-store) so British apples are available just about all year round.

I only use peas in risotto, or a stuffed pasta in cream with chicken and ham dish that I do. Think we have about ten year's supply in the freezer.
