Given that there's a lot of shit about at the minute, I thought I'd share a minor victory I had with a product that does what it says on the tin. I bought a car that was mechanically sound but cosmeti

For all the good that’ll do you may as well just stick it up your arse.

You might get early warning of a surprise raid on Poole Harbour.

That looks great. Did you use regular masking tape on the paintwork?

Yeah. You're going to tell me I should have used special stuff now, aren't you?

It has the GT pack or the Track pack then. Base model was 17s 😁

Au contraire my optional friend.

It's a JDM import, where pretty much everything was an optional extra. So the purchaser at the time, obviously feeling flush went for 18" alloys and Brembo brakes. But his budget didn't stretch to cruise control or leather seats. Or a spoiler.

In  the rest of the world the trim levels were standardised (although not the same standards the world over). I think even the very base model in the UK had Brembo brakes and a spoiler. The GT pack was leather seats, Rays alloys, cruise control and a Nismo spoiler. I think. Can't be arsed checking but that's close to right.

Unfortunately not. The very early models did have a tape deck, in fact the original purchaser might have gone for a CD player as an option, not sure when they stopped putting the  in. I wish mine had a tape deck, just for total retro points.

It does still have the original Jap radio though, which is absolutely useless in the UK.

You can get an adapter for about £15 that shifts the radio frequencies. Common with Jap imports.
