Both absolute cunts.

Posh absolute cunts. She said "natty mask" with the first "a" pronounced properly as in "cat" but then the second "a" poshdrawled as in "marsk"

Then he did the same with "mask matter"

He should have asked her what benefits her natty marsk provided other than matching her outfit.

What was the material? How was she storing it between wears? When did she last wash it? Could she feel her breath through it?

Hail the Tripod

Saw a lady I know at an event last night, who has had Covid, and now has had three jabs. Still wearing a mask indoors.

She’s an extremely capable, intelligent woman.

It’s seriously bizarre.

There are lots of highly intelligent people where I work but many do not have a questioning attitude as they are 'specialists' in a narrow but routine field. These are the ones who follow mandates until they are explicitly told not to.

At the weekend my mum explained her special type of #MumScienz around mask wearing.  I quote verbatim:

"Sometimes I wear a mask, other times I don't.  When I go in somewhere I look to see how many other people are wearing one.  If lots of people are then I put my mask on but if they are not then I don't bother"

I was at a small conference yesterday.  I was happily chatting with people, drinking tea, then we were asked to move to the main room.  The people I was speaking to put on masks for the short journey upstairs before removing them again.  I was nonplussed.

One of them continued to wear a mask through the whole day, it seemed very peculiar to me.

I think if anything mask wearing in Belfast shops has increased again after our health ministers recent indirect threats to prosecute more people for not wearing them.

That’s probably true for most people. Your mum is just honest about it.

Hardly anyone in Aldi today - even saw a couple of well off looking Boomers (who obviously are feeling the pinch as they're shopping in ..... ALDI!) with their birth masks.

Had a physiotherapist appointment this morning and there was still the same dumb question if I have a mask, despite me on every visit telling the stupid bitch 'I have a medical exemption' ... it's just so dumb

There was never evidence that they'd work, and there's now evidence that they don't work.

Yet they do it anyway.

This isn't about protection.  It is about making sure people don't realise that the authorities have made mistakes.

I wish I could be that benevolent.

NEVER WEARING THE MUZZLE!!!!!

END OF!

It doesn't make any sense anyway as the emergence of this variant is not a consequence of people going unmasked.

it's the easiest one to implement.  It costs nothing, looks like it's doing something and the muggles love it.

That it's utterly useless doesn't matter.

But apparently it's not being introduced for some days until legislation can be sorted. Hope that doesn't mean an end to exemptions, but suspect it does.

Don't see how it can, unless they change the equality act and don't see how they enforce it.

The underground has been mandatory all this time and it's at best 50/50 with no enforcement.

Yes, how can they force people to wear masks if they choose not to?
I was on a return trip by train from Scotland (masks mandatory in Scotland for public transport/shops) to England a couple of weeks or so ago. I would say less than 50% wore a mask on both journeys ….my friend and I didn’t bother. Nobody said anything.

It was really nice wandering around shops, having lunch etc in England with little mask wearing around. Lots of folk have chosen not to wear them in England. It’ll be interesting to see if there is a rebellion about them after folk having got used to not wearing them

But why bother, compliance will be massive for the most part in stores anyway and most exemptions will be genuine.  I could be wrong of course, but it's mostly optics and that they've not gone after hospitality, seems like they're not in the mood for a fight.
