I've seen women wear a mask while driving. Nobody else in the car.

I’ve seen this, too. Mind you I live in inbredville.

We were possibly a mile from the next person, out on a sunny day in the middle of nowhere and the women was wearing a mask.

I found it difficult to believe my eyes.

What on earth did she think was going to happen to her on a deserted hillside in the back of beyond ?

On her way to a dogging meetup.

That would be a better explanation than my simple assumption that she is a moron.

Unfortunately, we were a mile or so from the nearest car park, and I have never heard anybody sugggest it's a dogging spot.

Popuplights

I thought this was going to be a thread about the successful two-tone Ska revival act, fronted by Suggs.

Bit disappointed to be honest.

Did anyone else see the Suggs one-man tours? King Cnut, in my case.

Absolutely fucking outstanding.

Their are people in this country who are more stupid than I could ever have imagined possible.

Have you thought of a money making scheme yet?

If it made her feel better about going out, what's the problem? Not hurting anybody.

It normalises mindless compliance.

I was out for a run this morning in the Lincolnshire Wolds, at about the remotest spot I came across a couple (late 50's/early 60's) out for a walk.

And that is what the government is dealing with

And no, there was no need for her to wear a mask.

Seen people wearing a mask and latex gloves, then liberally applying sanitizer to the gloves at the entrance of Waitrose

What's wrong with that ?

What was she being compliant with? There's no rule or guidance that says she has to wear a mask in that situation, therefore it was her decision to do it.

Nope. By Christmas you won't be able to leave your house without a Muzzle.

Sad times ahead.

I suppose if it takes some of the pressure off our overburdened NHS it will be worth it.

Will be interesting to see road traffic accident figures for mask wearers.

I've seen shop workers doing that. Makes sense to save their skin.

Still ridiculous of course but I would do same if forced.

Yes I saw exactly the same in my area during the bliss of lockdown... people walking or cycling wearing masks on utterly deserted and remote footpaths and bridleways, I suppose some people just love conforming and take comfort in unthinkingly abiding by each and any rule imposed on them.
