Unlikely to be buckling, early in the morning, just been loads of rain and not that warm..

Landslide, embankment washout or bridge washed away is likely cause. The local SEPA station recorded 80mm of rain in the 3hrs before the crash

It was on it's way to being bricked up in a tunnel for being A Very Bad Engine.

Annie and Clarabel are helping police with their enquiries.
