Daily mail pedaling kiddie porn?

There was a dreadful programme back in the 80s called something like "Minipops" where eight year olds in make up would writhe about to something like "Like a Virgin".

Unless you were into sexualised underage children it was an immediate "Off!" as it had zero musical or artistic merit which is why it ended not long after it started.

Why that was ever commissioned is baffling.

We have something hear whose English translation is "Your face has a familiar voice".

It's basically Stars in their Eyes with different themes each week, complete with blacking up and gender swapping. I doubt it would last a week in the UK.

As a child of that era I would have given my eye-teeth to get on minipops or Jim'll Fix It.

Luckily for me those dreams did not come true and I was not lured into a web of paedophiles

I remember seeing it on TV with one of my flatmate. He was laughing out load, as it's a wonder it was ever broadcast.. Just a bit "wrong" innit?

The young girls on that show were really into it.

They'd come out of makeup and then go back in a few minutes later saying 'The producer says I need more makeup.' Rinse and repeat until they were all tarted up to the nines.
