Well i think he was actually carrying his own severed hand not a head there are photos on tother tread 

The morning after the night before woke up hand cuffed to the head board with a sore ares,had to make up a good excuse

I used to live not too far from 'Joker Park'.....then they moved to the 'Stadium of Shite' :P

Anyway I used to frequent the Holgate end at Ayresome Park......experienced standing in the Gallogate End at St James' a fair few times too.......days of the nutters :D

Back when hooliganism was a big problem, the local TV news used to report the number of people arrested at local games. It would usually be something like this:

Newcastle 48

Sunderland 33

Middlesbrough 26

Hartlepool 17

Darlington 1

 

The fact that the other teams had 30000+ crowds and 'Pools averaged around 2,500 speaks volumes for just how mental we were...
