Celebrity lockdown sceptics

The Masked Tulip

I think you can pretty much just add all the ones who are on the non-woke celebrity thread. The common theme seems to be people who rationalise and think for themselves.

My problem with this thread as I’ve never heard of most of the ‘celebrities’ being mentioned on it.

Give over you old fart or 20 something.

2 of the biggest stars of Madchester and Britpop late 80s through 90s

Former England Rugby Captain from the 90s, former regular goal of the week winner from the 90s

And Peter Ebdon a boring snooker player.

Or were you being sarcastic?

I am never sarcastic. It is the lowest form of wit.

I am, however, a bit of an annoying bastard with a strong anti celebrity prejudice. 😉

Do you remember when he had his pony tail? Or even his attempted music career. Both more interesting than watching him play snooker slowly.

As mentioned above Denise Welch has spoken out about the over reaction to the new virus. I know who she is as an actress from Tv dramas in the past, making out? perhaps. She’s acted in a lot programmes but I haven’t watched recent one’s.

The point is that these days she is on a tv programme called loose women. I haven’t watched it but have seen clips over the years. It’s a day time chat tv prog for women so respect to DW for going against the MSM and speaking like a dosbodder. A few days ago a fellow dog walker showed me the clip on iPhone what DW said. Very good!

She’s older and probably quite financially secure in life so can say what she wants even if she gets sacked.

A quick DuckDuckGo of Jedward shows that all their career consists of these days is social media rows.

I also find it bizarre that two 27 year old blokes have apparently yet to develop individual personalities but still speak as "Jedward".

Further oddness is that Wiki does not cite their DoB or age; their age was in a Mirror story.

Yes indeed. Peter Hitchens makes me look like a bedwetter.

We have got another one, Van Morrison, as reported in the NME which used to be a respected music magazine.

Bbc article taking great lenghths to explain why he is wrong.

A real 'national treasure' over here and had a special concert shown recently on BBC.

Already an alliance coucillor in Belfast wanting his 'freedom of Belfast' award taken away.

Yep. If he has any scientific facts he should share them.

Errrr.....nobody is dying :SxD

You see this used a lot. If you aren't an "expert" you are not allowed to have an opinion.

The vitriol by Nolan this morning was off the charts.  It sounded like an ISIS-tier zealot stopping just short of asking for another man to be beheaded.  Then he had a slew of guests on to shit on VM.  Including some twat 'socialist' blogger who immediately attacked Van Morrison for being a former window cleaner.

He was on good form last night for his show here.  He went to Belfast's student area where, horror of horrors, students were drinking in groups of more than six.

Oh the humanity and faux outrage. Lazy angry tv.

The absolute madlad has only gone and done it. Liam Gallagher has (I think) become a lockdown sceptic.

And finally, so has Uncle Nigel
