Coronavirus Symptoms & Statistics

I thought this was interesting enough to deserve its own thread:

CBC News has dug deep into the data collected by the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) to examine how COVID-19, the illness caused by the virus, affects the young, the elderly, men and women in order to better understand what's most likely to land you in hospital — or worse.”

Interesting that they show a change in age range of those infected over summer, which I suspect has also occurred in the UK

Agreed, there’s no reason to think it’s any different between the two countries. Canada and the UK are very similar in many ways.

I can’t speak for what governments will do but I’d be very surprised if, after this is all over, there was much of an actual difference in the disease, how it spread and who got it between Ontario and the UK. Things are a bit different in the Eastern provinces to be fair.
