Popcorn (or Corn Pop) Time - first presidential debate (02:00 BST)

Set your alarm clocks.

I think Trump should just take it easy and look as presidential as possible.

Biden is so touchy and demented that he's fully capable of fucking things up all by himself. He even fucks things up when given softball questions and using a teleprompter.

Just mention Hunter Biden now and again and he'll go off. Wouldn't be surprised to see him offer trump outside.

I think a lot of the Trump supporters on here are going to be very disappointed tonight.  Biden is going to crush Trump.   #Harris-Biden2020.

If only Trumps team could somehow tap into the Biden ear-peice feed. "So, you know maaaan, the thing ! Good evening........... Tuesday evening"

I still can't believe it's going ahead.

The ear inspection that Trumps mob have asked for is not mentioned at all on the (So called) BBC website...presumably because it does not fit in with their narrative.

What they don't report tells you a lot about their agenda...

I don't see what the fuss about Trump not paying tax is about.

You pay tax when you make money, not when you piss it away on loss-making casinos and golf courses.

Trump is being smart, investing in dud business models in order to avoid paying tax.

Once he is bust (again), he won't owe the taxman a red cent.

Now that's business genius.

I can't tell if the Bedragometer is working or not of late.

Best outcome of these debates is a Montgomery Brewster stealing the limelight.

Ffs, a choice of Donald Trump or Joe Biden? To run the (probably not for much longer) most powerful Country on Earth?

George Soros having to spend $300m destroying the world so that he can inherit $3bn?

How do you make small fortune in New York real estate? Start with a large one.

I’m not really a fan..  he’s a refreshing change from the career politicians and it’s nice to see someone who is blatantly winging it compared to those who take themselves far too seriously.  I also think he has a bit of passion and genuinely believes in what he does.

But he’s a bit big headed and a bit full of it at the same time.

The problem for the Democrats is the same as last time..  they just have no game.   There’s nothing to really vote for them for, their only vision last time was “we’re not Trump”.

That was why he won last time,  and if their not careful,  why he’ll win again.

Let's face it the Dems could put a shop dummy on stage with Trump and the anyone-but-Trump MSM would report that the dummy made more sense.

Anecdotally I've heard/read quite a few people assuming it's a done deal that Trump is going to lose.

If he doesn't, 2016 is going to look like mild irritation by comparison.

The Beeb assassination of trump voters last week seemed to suggest that 4 years ago lots were just voting "not Hillary". If Joe can avoid that stigma, he's poised to pick up a few million floating votes (even if his party do seem ready to hit the self-distruct button - I could see Omar hitting the button within a week and blowing up Israel, before the American people then turn the gun on themselves).
