In the kitchen - where else? At least 2 folk thought it's a good idea to have a loo next to the kitchen stove ( the folk who built it that way, and the folk who have just bought it/sstc).
Who needs frosted glass when you're sat on the loo - I'm sure the neighbours will soon get used to your little peculiarities.
The house has all mod cons - including another loo upstairs in case the one in the kitchen is in use.

MADNESS

Plumbers are harder to find these days as more people decided to be Barista's instead of tradesmen. If people put the bath in the bedroom, when they get a leak they can use the bed mattress to soak the water up.

Lovely house by the river.

ALARM BELLS RING

the light blue goes into the buildings..

Its a former water-mill so to be expected.

I love the amount of affluenza that is going on inside the place like the owners have nothing better to do other than excessive detail.

Have a look on street view, after admiring the vendor in his pencil thin garden turn round and go down the road, @One percent has a tea-room behind the green door with her poster up. Two Police Vans. Derelict buildings, pikey/muzzer central, you would fear for your safety after dark. Place is worth max £300K irrespective of how much money is chucked at it unless some serious gentrification occurs which is highly doubtful..

Some things in life sort-of make sense in your dreams, only to fall flat in real life.

Baths in bedrooms aren't like them -- the're obviously a daft idea right from the start.

Recon it’s a b&b

Yes.

I stayed a couple of times in one posh hotel on Exmoor that had a free standing bath in every (very large) room as well as a small pipe organ.

It also had a strict no TVs rule.

My kind of place.

Now gone private hire rather than letting individual rooms.

I can't see a bath anywhere in there :( Am I not worthy?

The house I'm living in now had a sink in each bedroom. No idea why, but I was told it was all the rage in the 1970s, which makes sense because that was the last time the previous owners decorated.

My parents' four bed had that.

Though it had previously been run as a B&B which I assumed was the reason.

There was also a sink in the workshop which is where that family's children used to sleep during the summer when it was operating as a B&B.

There are still baths in the main rooms in a couple of the photos but most seem to have gone as have the pipe organs.

The rooms were massive and would have divided into two decent sized doubles which is I guess what they have done.

Don't know if this place has a bath in its bedroom as its not finished, saw it on one of my bike rides and was stunned by the minimalist construction (timber frame and bin bags) extending to one of those London style gable ends.

However the impressive pediment is merely 3x2 with OSB nail gunned to it with fake stone capping’s waiting to go on once the brick skin has been applied.

Never seen that attempted before, can only see problems with it once the NHBC warranty has expired.

Yours for £900K and not worth it, £600K would be obscene, but its location, location, location at 2.4% APR.

The estate agents pictures are fake, but look sooo real.

@Chewing Grass Are the chimney stacks fake too do you think? I can't see any cut outs for them where they're supposed to go yet so that leads me to think theyre not even going to be used for log burner flue etc..

Anyway, that one next door reminded me of an estate round here. The developer has gone bust, I think. Imagine paying £1.25m earlier this year for what is now available for £800k...

Yep, I've seen them lying on the ground many times, plus prefabricated dormers.

One just has to hope the flue liners are durable if they are used for a fire!

It's all a shitshow and an embarrasment this things have regressed this low.

I'm tempted to make a cheeky offer on that half finished house above. When they are inviting offers in a pandemic it piques my curiousity as to what I can get away with, a cash offer of £600k I'd not be surprised if it got accepted. I'm assuming it isn't mortgageable.

Obviously, I'd not actually buy it, but gauging how bad/good things are right now would be interesting.
