And the owners of the damaged property have revealed their home has been hit by vehicles three times in the last two years and five times overall in the 17 years they have lived at the property.

That house doesnt look 17yo.

The incidents appear to have stepped up.

Have they re-done the front and reduced the wall for increased light?

maybe the road gets greasy/wet and the house is just at the end of a long skid by the cars down the road

If it looked even remotely icy I’d agree..  especially if there’s a T-junction out of shot.   As it is it just looks a bit wet..  there’s no sign of oil sheen. Hard to believe you’d come sliding down a hill that badly just because it’s a bit wet o.O

wet leaves, maybe reverse camber, speeding driver, could also just be poor tyre choice

the car would have hit the house if the speed was higher rather than toppling into the garden

Yep,  could be anything you mention..  too many unknowns to really say.

Agree on the bit about it being low speed,  almost like they didn’t realise until the last minute.

Notice how the wall is damaged at the front..  car hit from the direction the photo is taken.  Right wheel caught the wall and flipped it around and over 90 deg.
