Having listened to some of this today, it appears the Welsh powers believe the lockdown can eradicate the virus.

If they are correct, they can't open the border with England again.

If it doesn't, it will be because the lockdown wasn't a) hard enough or b) long enough.

So they will try again, longer and harder.

Whichever way, the people are fucked.

Zugzwang.

Oh, and why haven't they closed Cardiff airport? Is it because the council own it?

I suspect they're trying to replicate this:

The blocker as I see it is that there is vastly more traffic across the Welsh border than there is across provincial borders in eastern Canada.

Have a look at the departure board. They aren't business flights.

Yeah. I went and had a look when I saw your first post.

The complete lack of any logical consistency is shocking.

The stupidity of that is that, given no crowds are allowed, the game could be played anywhere. The Stoop would have done the job at a tenth of the cost, and left the field hospital intact.

I stumbled upon this. O.o

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-54148734

For Nicki Briant, 25, pornography left her with negative feelings about sex, a lingering sense of inadequacy and a "tarnished" body image.

Children's charity Plan UK and the Institute of Psychosexual Medicine have called for the dangers of porn to be taught in schools.

The Welsh government said it was looking at how porn should be considered in its new curriculum.

"Sex is very messy and sticky and crazy and none of it really ever goes to plan," said Nicki, a gym manager and personal trainer from Cardiff.

I do think porn is increasingly having a hugely negative effect on individuals (not necessarily society as a whole though strangely). Probably right that guidance is given, but it’ll just get hijacked by the lefty / feminist brigade.

For some men, a lifestyle of poor diets, limited exercise, non-stop supply of porn, excess alcohol / drugs is just the perfect cocktail for depression and anxiety.

Not arguing either way, it’s that the Welsh politicians want it included in some way in their national curriculum.

i guess it will give the schools film club a new focus.

Looks like it sorts the real men from the cucked ones.

Every single one of those precursors can be readily dealt with especially the first three.

I think your illustrious leaders are ahead of the curve on stopping you with that one.  Don’t you dare leave wales.  :)

Yeah the stuff I saw the politician seemed to imply they could control the virus in Wales. He also appeared to have a big grudge against candles.

No. They are trying to reduce hospital admissions, that's all, because as you know the hospitals in Wales are worse than those in England (and they aren't the best 😂
