If they don't like it, they should consider not watching it.

I don't like Coronation Street. But it doesn't cause me any bother or issues because I don't watch it.

Actually watching Corrie as a child made me realise how socially superior I was as a Southerner, so no negative result at all!

At least he's asking this time, not ordering.  But who are these people applying common sense?  I see none, just those applying common purpose.

I think he means the retail association who asked for the daft ban and himself for falling for it and not thinking about driving more money online. I think a white collar would suit him and he should turn to religion instead of politics.

They could have suggested that the population go on a diet.

Now that would have been interesting.

What a stupid idea!....how would that `fit` with their half price food promotions on Mon-Wed?...you really have no idea do you?...forget standing as the Monster Raving Loony Party candidate for IOW & Solent as you sound unelectable!

Yes , 15 years service.

What do you actually do? Whenever I have (very infrequently) phoned our one because of something I thought was wrong in a shop they basically weren't that interested. Of course I grumbled about it but to be fair I could have been totally out of order with whatever I was calling them about. Also suspect it's budget been cut as it didn't used to be quite so bad years ago.

Love this (I suppose wearing the mask was a necessary evil here to make sure the focus was on the clothes - or lack thereof). His partner made sure she got a bulge shot in for posterity.

At what point does the police force question what the hell they are doing? It is really sad to see this level of state puppetry. It is the acts of ridicule like that in Tesco Newport or resistance at the Liverpool gym that will end this nonsense; the number of these acts needs to grow though which is why it is important for individuals to ditch their mask, live their life and bring an end to this shit through peaceful non-compliance.

The problem is DS our political `leaders` are so arrogant that rather than `putting their hands up` and admitting their mistake/s, they resort to `upping the ante` by criminalizing further actions and using the media to ostracise `non-believers` via public [Sheeple] opinion.

I think that this is the main driving force behind it all now. I have almost always been a big supporter of the police, but it must be by consent. I just hope that they realise and/or care about the damage this is doing to people’s support of the police. As it stands, they do not have mine. Petty local council enforcement has always been disliked so my expectations of that have been met.

I have always been supportive (of the majority) of the police. The last six months has made me realise we may be facing a period of anarchy/civil unrest to `re-set` our democratic system, as the Red/Blue teams approach is no longer working/appropriate.

Anti-lockdown protest in Llandudno today

Quote

Hundreds of anti-lockdown protesters have gathered in Llandudno.

The peaceful crowd marched along the seaside resort's promenade and are gathering at the bandstand to hear speeches calling for restrictions, imposed to stop the spread of coronavirus, to be lifted.

The organisers called for people whose jobs, businesses, families or futures have been affected by the previous local lockdown, which was in force in four North Wales counties, including Conwy, to "make a stand and let your voice be heard".

It states: "The aim of this group is to gather enough people that feel the same way and are willing to try and make a change.

Yesterday, Mr Owen, from Anglesey was arrested by North Wales Police and charged with criminal damage, several public order offences, and contravention of the coronavirus regulations.

He is due to appear at Caernarfon Magistrates Court on November 24.

Interestingly Spain has just gone full martial law for the next 6 months and introduced an 11pm to 6am curfew.

Quite what that achieves over winter is beyond comprehension really other than the socialists reinforcing the concept of 'the struggle'.

I imagine 95% of transmission is between 6am and 11pm.

Another exemplar for tin-pot regional dictators over here, I would put money on Wee-Krankie copying it next week.

Protests. In Llandudno.

The revolution started today.

The Welsh mob can get away with shafting the public in all sorts of ways but it's a step too far stopping them running up their credit card bill to buy supermarket tat.

Here in lockdowned, rain and wind lashed Wales, second home owners are in the crosshair:

Quote

5 point plan launched to tackle 'unsustainable' North Wales 'second homes crisis'

Plaid Cymru claims the percentage of second homes in Gwynedd is 'among the highest in Europe'

1. Changing planning laws

The party is suggesting councils should be allowed to impose a cap on the number of second homes, refuse permission for changing a dwelling from being from a primary to a secondary residence and disallow new properties from being purchased in areas where second homes make up to 20% of the local market

2. Council tax premiums

Allowing council to charge council tax premiums of up to 200% on second homes and having the Welsh Government bring forward regulations to treble the LTT (Land Transaction Tax) charge on the purchase of second properties.

3. Close the loophole

Close the loophole that allows second home owners to register their property as “businesses” in order to avoid paying the council tax premium.

4. Licencing scheme

Look at bringing in a licencing scheme for renting properties through companies such as AirBnB to control the amount of properties that can be used as a cash cow in popular holiday destinations where house prices are high.

5. Local conditions

Proposals to empower councils to build houses with a local conditions on them, make it easier to bring empty properties back into use and redefine the term ‘affordable home’ which currently includes properties worth over £250,000.
