It doesn't sound like much of a regiment to me. A regiment of nerds?O.o

What a thing to say.  They're a fine group and not at all nerdy.

And it is a Brigade, not a Regiment.

Or so my mate says.

There are plenty of agencies handling propaganda, without the army getting involved.

Er, in MI5 what are you imagining the MI stands for?

OMBC have a comms team of 8

We believe they have additional people who lurk on social media and produce a weekly "racism" report to monitor tensions within the town. Or it might be some of these people who do the lurking. Who knows. They're very good at spending council tax payers money.

For a moment, I thought "White Ribbon" was their anti-racism campaign!

Military Intelligence is an oxymoron.

It looks like they go trekking out in the Congo to find those bastards (going by the website image of a solider on a laptop in the jungle).

Sir, there's someone on the Facebook in Manchester saying that the Earth is flat!

I would hope they had more important things to do.

You could have a good sketch similar to the Monty Python 'unarmed combat against fruit' sketch.

'Right lads. Now here's what to do if somebody says the Covids isn't real. What do we do?'

'Call him a granny killer and that we hope he dies gasping for breath in an ICU, sarge'.

'And what do we do if he comes at us again?'

'Tell him he wouldn't be saying that if he knew someone who'd died of Covids'.

'And what if...'

'Aw sarge, we've done all this before. What about if somebody uses an ad hominem attack and then follows it up with a post hoc, ergo propter hoc accusation? How do we counter that?'

Pause.

'Right. Have we covered gasping for breath and killing granny?'

Repeat to fade.

This from Drakeford today.

"Unfortunately, we continue to face a virus which is moving incredibly quickly across Wales and a virus that will exploit every opportunity when we spend time with one another."

Ascribing malicious, sentient motivations to the virus has been another well worn approach by TPTB.

Obviously RT is 100% true, and only appears on British TV, as it is wholly funded by adverts for gold coins.

Annoys me when the fake news always refer to RT as "Russian state-funded channel"

Or even "Russian state-funded propaganda channel"

But never the BBC "British state-funded channel"

:Jumping: They are too clever for you, they got around that by making it a sort of compulsory subscription service, however the do not rigidly enforce it as then they would technically have to confess to being state funded.

Very clever.

Twarts.

Did anyone ever say that any news channel anywhere was 100% true?

Difficult to judge Ellwood's motivation. There's stories going back several years suggesting he is involved in army propaganda and counter wrong think campaigns, but he has also challenged the government over the secretive aspects of EU military unification and more recently made anti lockdown statements.

No I think they literally are state-funded. I am sure I've heard them say that the TV license fee does not directly fund the BBC, in the same way that your "road tax"  does not directly fund road-building.

I avoid thinking about the BBC wherever possible so I am not at all certain of the above.
