Health authorities in India’s south east are scrambling after an unknown illness hospitalised hundreds of people within a few days, leaving at least 1 dead.
We don't know what it is but have ruled out virus infection (inc Corona), food or water poisoning.

Has somebody released the "2025 crisis" too soon? o.O

Not strictly CV related but put here to avoid putting a plague topic on the main board.

Possibilities.

1. Mass hysteria.

2. Known illness wrongly identified.

3. Politics.

4. Microwave weapon.

5. Bio-weapon.

6. Anything else?

Could be a warning to India - this is a sample of what we can do.

My man on the ground in Hyderabad knows people in the region of the outbreak.  They say it's either mass food poisoning or something in the water.  They are steering clear of all non-bottled water for now.
