The Elite, and those who falsely believe they also have joined this dysfunctional club, have made the lives of ordinary people fraught with pain over the last 50 years.....over and over again.  This covid shit is the latest torture.

The majority in this country are fighting over the scraps thrown to them.

I don't follow why you think apathy was created by the trauma of World War II. It did mark a fundamental change.

Winning the war created a new structure where the rights of the majority were strengthened and the privileges of the upper classes reduced resulting in a more levelled society. Equality of opportunity was given to the working classes. Education became available to all, the opportunity to avail higher education was expanded. Hundreds of thousands of children from working class families benefitted from university education as well as other forms of higher education.

In fact the socialist bias that resulted almost led to the UK becoming a communist nation. Large sections of commerce and industry were taken into public control. Coal, steel, railways, ship building, airlines, telecommunications, housing, healthcare, education. The strength of the Unions competing against each other to maintain wage differentials was a constant source of strife. A reaction against this resulting in Margaret Thatcher being elected Prime Minister and the changes she introduced.

I don't disagree that there is a ground swell of disquiet leading to apathy today. I perceive that attitude as emanating from the days the Blair administration came into power. Blair sought to introduce changes, to streamline and modernise our nation. Many changes were introduced, mostly enforcing state control over us, criminalising us, restricting our freedom of speech, encouraging immigration and suppressing criticism of it. Not to mention the disastrous war he lied to lead us into that created the strife we are still trying to overcome. A war to allow the corrupt politicians in the US to profit from, a war that he thought would enhance his power and prestige on the international stage.

The changes he initiated have been eagerly seized by those who followed. Regardless of their nominal political affiliation the policies are the same. Removing long held freedoms, culminating in the ridiculous lockdowns we are now subjected to.

To be GOVERNED is to be watched, inspected, spied upon, directed, law-driven, numbered, regulated, enrolled, indoctrinated, preached at, controlled, checked, estimated, valued, censured, commanded, by creatures who have neither the right nor the wisdom nor the virtue to do so. To be GOVERNED is to be at every operation, at every transaction noted, registered, counted, taxed, stamped, measured, numbered, assessed, licensed, authorized, admonished, prevented, forbidden, reformed, corrected, punished. It is, under pretext of public utility, and in the name of the general interest, to be placed under contribution, drilled, fleeced, exploited, monopolized, extorted from, squeezed, hoaxed, robbed; then, at the slightest resistance, the first word of complaint, to be repressed, fined, vilified, harassed, hunted down, abused, clubbed, disarmed, bound, choked, imprisoned, judged, condemned, shot, deported, sacrificed, sold, betrayed; and to crown all, mocked, ridiculed, derided, outraged, dishonored. That is government; that is its justice; that is its morality.

Sounds exactly like what your average 25 year old SJW does or promotes on Twatter!

It speaks volumes that anarchy is demonised - it rejects the political systems that currently control us, (in an ever intensifying thumb-screw). More and more are questioning the motives of those who rule over us - we are seeing the unwinding of over half-a-centuries damage, they have used the apathy created by the trauma of World War II against us. I think we are going to see some serious battles over the next decade as times get tough and the unvaccinated are still capable of fighting against this new tyranny.

Not sure why you've created two groups - vaccinated and not - i dont think one will rise up against the other.

Plenty people may want it but can't (allergy) and others will take it as it will be safer than getting covid.

So, without government there can be no commerce? Can basic rules and laws not replace the role of governments? I can’t see what else governments contribute.

Theres no commerce without goverment, most products are not wanted without state mind control, once food production was industrialized it was game over  ,

People are now too selfish for anarchy to work.

I don't think we've ever changed.

There however might be some genetic drift downwards due to scum from Stoke and Seaton procreating more than they ought..
