Journeyed to the dark side and watched a bit of the ITV (online) coverage .... there was the clapping Saint Tom family, the obligatory clapping hospital staff, then some squaddies clapping , then Bori

Church of England vicar no less. I find it sad but think that there is no way back for the Church of England; they have dwindled to a gaudily dressed version of Oxfam with better architecture.

He seemed a nice old chap but time for the fawning to stop surely.

If he hadn’t been so feted for the fund raising, he’d never have gone to Barbados at Christmas, and would probably still be alive. Funny old world.

Oh I thought it was Friday. Just been out for a brisk walk, didn't see any daft fuckers stood outside clapping at all. Maybe no one watches the BBC anymore

Well from farcebook

Just been stood at my doorstep doing the “clap” for Captain Sir Tom Moore.
So many of our road out there too and plenty of other sounds coming from surrounding streets.
I hope that any videos shown on the National news will bring some comfort to his family if they see it.
Sleep tight Sir
