I think that's accurate about the So-Called BBC.

Grange Hill is somewhat unique among long-running shows in that it does not take its sudience with it through the years. I really quite like both versions of the theme (my time was with the earlier one).

For me they are both “ok” in their own right..  except the first one is “Grange Hill” the second one is “Shit, we need to make Grange Hill cool like those Aussie children’s soaps”.
