Snakes with little masks flying the planes because all the pilots have post-jab thrombosis?

That has been completely debunked.

Trolley Dolly: "Attention! Can I have your attention? Both the pilots are dead. Their heads exploded. Bits of brain all over the windshield. They only got their second jabs this morning. Popped louder than a complimentary bottle of bubbly in first class My colleague is mopping them up. But right now, I need your help - is there a snake aboard that can fly a plane?"

A moment of silence. Worried passengers look around the cabin. Another moment passes. Something clicks within the cabin. A masked snake unbuckles its seat-belt and begins slithering down the aisle towards the cockpit.

Excitable Passenger 1: "This is crazy! He has no hands! How can he fly the plane!?"

Trolley Dolly: "Remain calm sir. All our lives depend on this one snake on a plane."

Excitable Passenger 1: "He was wearing a seat-belt! How did he get it buckled up? He has no ears. To what is his mask fixed? Is everyone mad?"

" Oh look, he has no nose. "

" Really, how does he smell ? "

Trolley Dolley:

" Fucking stinks tbf. "

The link no longer works. Did the censors decide that it was a ludicrous story too far?

The "get back to your offices you plebs" commercial landlord/Tory donor crew probably took a dim view of it.

It's fascinating watching these two tribes go to war.

The commercial property investors.

The fearful and fretful.

Get your popcorn in and enjoy the show.

Their escape plan is to convert commercial to residential with barely suitable accommodation (poor sound proofing and facilities) so only used for the desperate and those on bennies, so they rake in the easy money from guaranteed housing benefits, while the lowest rungs of people are priced out of better properties so there's a guaranteed supply of people forced into this slumlord property. Also the solution for the high street commercial property. Already happening.

Trains and other commuter travel will become too expensive for many, through green taxes or lease only leccy vehicles, ensuring more people are forced into cities where the work is to fill all the now converted commercial property.

It's all cyclical as current city dwellers move out while they can, to be replaced by the poverty stricken they forced out previously through gentrification.

That is Klaus's Plan and WEF Policy in a nutshell and also sounds like that book I read as a kid where the world was split into Mega Cities and the Boonies and people didn't cross from one to the other.

Didn't realise that, though no plan survives first contact with the enemy, or as Mike Tyson put it, no plan survives being hit in the face. xD

As such I don't read up on these plans much, don't want to become a wood pecker that can only see trees. xD

The analysis was for deaths over the next four months.

I'd say the risk was in the low double digits.  The problem will be mainly in the elderly, who probably shouldn't be travelling by train unless absolutely essential.

The risks will be higher if we have another covid wave next winter, but that would be controllable using targeted social distancing measure -- in particular, getting the vulnerable to self-isolate and people to work from home where possible.

It is possible that the modelling includes the risks of secondary infections (ie, catch it on the train then pass it on to granny), but these risks are nebulous and difficult to quantify -- there will be risks of 'secondary deaths' all over the place and really you just have to put up with them so long as things are broadly under control.

This has to be compared with the other risks from travelling by train (including, but not limited to, catching other diseases), and with the risks of taking alternative transportation (driving, mainly).

I'd like to see their modelling of the risks from influenza when travelling by train over a typical winter...

Fill you boots Risk of transmission of airborne infection during train commute based on mathematical model dated 2007

Objective

In metropolitan areas in Japan, train commute is very popular that trains are over-crowded with passengers during rush hour. The purpose of this study is to quantify public health risk related to the inhalation of airborne infectious agents in public vehicles during transportation based on a mathematical model.
