Has anyone tried the FODMAP diet? I was just looking at this NHS PDF - 


It seems to me that many other "fad" diets are in fact at least in part, FODMAP diets, ie no lactose, no gluten, carnivore, even keto and MAF would avoid many FODMAP foods?

It's normally promoted as something for people with IBS, but I wonder if this is actually a common link between many diets, and possibly one worth following?

as a side note, I can see anyone with IBS challenging any meat taxes as being discriminatory as most other sources of vegetable protein need to be avoided, lentils, beans etc.
