Another fatal crash involving cars and lorries

Recommended Posts

Strange how Britain actually managed to run in the 1950s and 60s when there wasn't even a substantial network of motorways never mind trunk roads.

Then again people didn't buy as much stuff, eat ready meals, commute to pointless jobs in another town or city.

It just shows how wasteful we are a a society.

I was just thinking the other day about all the market gardens there were in my home town as a kid. All gone now and we move food across the country and globe. Madness.

the So-Called BBC are reporting this:

Officers said a lorry travelling southbound crashed through the central reservation and hit at least two vehicles heading in the opposite direction.

Could be a blowout.

Or how badly run and dysfunctional it has become. Millions travel pointless miles daily thanks to the overt financialisation of the housing market for instance.

There is limited scope in terms of planning, actual space or cost restrictions to put in additional infrastructure and yet increasing the population is still a primary goal of the political class.

Questioning the above is deemed radical.

No need to look it'll be being blamed on EE migrants in some way.

The last one that involved the minibus was driven by an EE who didn't even have a licence and had been asleep for 10 minutes for some reason or other that I cannot fathom.

The FedEx driver who ploughed into the back of it all wasn't EE.

He was pissed, sleeping it off. In the near side lane of the motorway. O.o

M5 truck looks to be some sort of elderly 18 tonner hippy wagon type thing they go to Glastonbury in.

Yes, it's an odd looking thing, judging by the pictures.

I know the stretch very well. It's on my commute.

As per title,

another fatal crash involving lorries and cars. Imho, there are way too many lorries on the toads, only set to get worse as the population increases.

Junctions 14 to 16 were closed most of Wednesday when I drove North. Absolute chaos.

Looked like a race car truck to me.

Not a goods wagon.

The thing look ancient, probably run on a shoe-string budget with fossilised tyres.

Half of all horse boxes are the same, knackered old vehicles, left standing for half the year then driven by the clueless.
