I cannot see why gold and silver would crash in a stock market collapse, in real terms.  Some force selling of PAPER gold, sure, but real physical (or SLV which holds real silver).  Nah.

I can't believe that's in the Independent.  The msm are really trying to ramp up the anxiety level all round.  "Anxiety" not "fear" as that's the term used in the three enablers of the "mass formation" discussed here and posted elsewhere:

The mass formation concept is really compelling and Desmet outlined it very well. It is another one of those “when you see it, you can’t unsee it” ideas - the mask, vaccine and social distancing as rituals to enforce a new found meaning in life and newly formed human bonds to keep the pain of “free-floating anxiety” at bay. It explains a lot. The presenter did lose his way with it a little in the middle, where he seemed to want to get validation of how intelligent or emotionally superior he is because he hasn’t succumbed to this particular mass formation. The professor thankfully put those notions to bed quite quickly and the video became interesting again.

If indeed the whole thing does go pop this month, it will be interesting to see how the economics, politics and mass formation all plays out.
