Carnivore Diet

I am thinking of phasing in a Carnivore diet as soon as I get through all of the rubbish Christmas food I still have in the house.

Has anyone tried Organ meat supplements as I am not a big fan of eating offal, I used to have to eat Liver at my Grandmothers and it was pretty rank so I would rather take a supplement.

Apparently Organ meat is a very important part of the Carnivore diet as it is packed with nutrients.

I've made my own liver pills. Raw liver is cut into pill sized pieces and frozen. Laid out on parchment paper so that they freeze separately. 2 or 3 pills a day is plenty. No taste to it, it's like swallowing small pieces of ice.

Allegedly, there's a remote risk of picking up a parasite from eating raw liver pills. I've only heard of it happening once and she was promoting expensive liver powders. They will have been heated and not as full of nutrients. General consensus is that freezing will kill any parasites. If that's wrong, there's always horse paste. :)

Anything you don’t particularly like the taste of can be cut thin and fried in garlic, chilli butter. It’s like alchemy in a frying pan!
