A friend recommended this channel to me last night.

To be fair to our Tony, he does come out with some good stuff. I particularly like his idea of growing potatoes in 30 L tubes. They are easy to fill, don't give you a hernia when you empty them and you aren't feeding and watering Australia when you feed and water.

My only quibble is that he claims that by using tubs there is no need to water. Well, maybe in Wales where when it stops raining you know that it is just God having a laugh and it will soon start again, but not so in most other places.

True.

Tony is a good lad, but he does go on. My attitude is put a few spuds in a tube, chuck on some compost and piddle vigorously and that should be that. And if the crop fails well, sod it, there is always Waitrose.
