Tasty Motor! They were nice to drive, but a bit light at the back, if you went for the 6 cylinder one.

Half a paving slab in each corner would sort that.

I recognised the number plate from "Minder". Dennis Waterman (74) RIP, nobody mentioned this on the deathpool thread.

You have missed out the Hillman Hunter GT.

With good reason.

The pedals are too far away for you, and you can't see over the dash.

Ford Escort Mk V.  Best car ever.  If thay were still making them I would still be driving one.

Generic photograph.

I had a Mark IV before that but it was nowhere near as good.

I liked my 1994 M reg saloon (not an Orion!) with the oval grille inset into the bonnet. Great car for £250. With the 1.8 n/a diesel engine it was so s-l-o-w but oh so economical.

I once wrote one of those off by smashing my motorbike into it. I took out the entire right side of the car. My bike was fine. I just had to bend the gear lever back, put everything back in the topbox and I was on my way

The driver was gutted. He probably should have looked in his mirror before he made his manoeuvre
