Free or cheap parking Old Trafford Cricket Ground

Off to a gig at Old Trafford Cricket Ground on Weds. Trains not an option due to strike. Is there any free or good value parking near by?

Parking in Sale and using the Metro. This area is about a five min walk to the station. You can do the same for Stretford but roads busier. 

I passed through the ground when Harry Styles was playing. Pretty much lock down for the roads locally.

I know North Manchester areas to. Mind, I wouldn't leave my car there.
