Don't they mean 'to light the path because of socialism' ? Because I remember the 70s under socialism and we definitely needed torches and candles when the power was turned off.

That was not proper socialism, they'll get it right next time...just got to give them one last chance to proove that :)

whilst i have your eyes, please allow me to express my enjoyment at lurking on here... i enjoy the insights and posts from you all. Thank you.

I welcome your warm invitation...but its more a question of time rather than anything :)

but back on topic...socialism is just akin to jewellery...worn when an impression is required and not spared a thought when shopping for molten brown and fortnum n m.....a hobby for the rich.

Each hamper contains,

1 A Merry Christmas 'Red Star' lapel badge.

2 A Christmas card featuring Stalin (Uncle Joe) driving a sleigh, obviously pulled by Rudolf the RED nosed reindeer.

3 A thrilling history of the 1917 revolution, speeches by Lenin and CD of the Red Army Choir.

4 A board game 'Gulag or Commissar'' similar to snakes and ladders.

5 A pair of slippers, with REAL cardboard soles.

6 A picture of a cooked chicken.

Hi Glue bag, yes, they will get it right this time, it wasn't that they killed too many people trying in the past, but not enough. These people behind the hamper are sure to be able to achieve their dream.

Or something. I won't pretend you were expressing your enjoyment at my posts, especially considering the low quality of this particular post, but that's nice to hear, glad you're not just a lurker, looking forward to insights and posts from you in the future.

I lurked over on that other place for over a decade, only created an account when this site appeared. Good to lurk, even better to join in!

brother fimble, you welcomed me previously .we talked about giving up.snout and smoking herb...and i owe you a reply about those bricks of gak :) (save that tale for a virtual beer one day)i like your posts, along with joe davola, the guy with the felt lp avatar and dtm mark...also stokie....looking forward to the pictures of his baby muma wearing her g string :)

are you still off the fags? i had my mid life crisis in KL the other week...got a box of marlboros and chain smoked a couple whilst sat at a bar, inside...it felt so naughty and decadent...but a reminder how filthy it is. my fingers smelt positively rotten the next day.

cheers,

i will make more effort :)

work days are hectic and by 7pm this old boy is only worth his weight in glue....im no good to man nor beast. but i like your encouragment. but im very.binary in nature (addict personality) so youll either get a '1' or a '0'....the linear domain is no go area for this purveyor of evo stik.

You'll soon feel at home on here.

A few posters have travelled APAC and around about.

There are at least ten on here that understand binary as well.
