Google doesn't do doodles for religious occasions. The thing I find odd is that it doesn't link to "christmas' when you click the doodle.

Go Google hanukkah and tell me they don't do doodles for religious occasions.

They have never done a Doodle ie on the homepage for any religious festival AFAIK.

They do them for inner search pages, as per the above link, but not the homepage (doodle). If you Google 'christmas' right now on Google.co.uk you'll see they have a large graphic up.

I wouldn't have known had you not posted, since I now use Duck Duck Go for my searches on all devices.

Bit random but they've made the effort, and I really like the art.

If they'd not posted the 'winter festival bollocks' on Dec 25th - then i'd not have minded. If it was a full December thing, then fine. But Boxing day was no doodle, so just a piss take.
