Labour abolishes women

If you want to apply for posts on Labour's national youth committee (to 27) then you have to decide whether to apply as a man or as a "self-defining woman"; with half the posts restricted for the latter category.

So whilst the posts would have been filled by women they can now be all filled by men.  There is no self-defined man category.

It's good to see that all the efforts that women have put into equality / feminism have in the long run been so beneficial for men who can now fill all the posts on that committee with a little self-defining.

This trans issue is like a hand grenade in the "equality" movement.

Chelsea Manning's going to make it work for him her them.

Theyve a lot more problems than that.

They are tearing themselves apart.

Stetoe is pissing off on holiday and not doing any work at all. He thinks delegating stuff is leadership.

Does 'she' think that by being transgender this somehow wipes the slate clean with regards to her previous espionage convictions?

On look, she released a load of secret or sensitive information to wikileaks, lets get her in the senate, she sounds just the sort of character that you'd want in charge. Jesus.

She only did seven years for a crime that could have seen her in jail almost long enough to collect her pension until it was commuted - for some reason, playing up for the SJW lobby probably.

Frankly I'd be keeping my fucking head down.

I'm pretty confident wikileaks is fake news and Assange and Manning are puppets/stooges.

'The new rule applies to party activists aged up to 27 who want to compete for 11 elected posts on the party’s Young Labour wing. '

Thats agist. They need to let people self identify as being i ntheir 20s too.

And the current chair of the Labour Young feminist wing is  Gerald 'Flossy' Smith, 80 22.

Brothers, I mean Sisters. I stand to ensure that our pensions sorry salaries are paid ahead of any wages.

Self-defining?
It did it on it's own?

There speaks the self-defining woman who can only apply for half the places :P

Whereas I can be either a man or a self-defining woman and so apply for all of them.  I win!

O brave new world

That has such people in 't

This is not a new issue for the left

The same questions were being asked after the French and Russian revolutions which is why the term Citizen and Comrade were chosen. The words don't even have a linguistic gender in English.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comrade

Of course, it also reveals that true Marxism or Socialism and 'Culltural Marxism' (a nebulous term for a ragbag of postmodernist and socialist ideas chucked together) can not co exist because in essence the former regarded the people or the proletariat as one. Once you start dividing things up on the lines of religion, race and gender you soon are on the road of recreating the class structures of the pre revolutionary world.

To this extent modern politics of feminism or race have little to do with true economic equality. Rather it is about self defined new elites such as highly paid B.B.C women replacing old elites such as even higher paid B.B.C men.

Because, as a movement, its fundementally not democratic.

The scoialist end of the Left movement is always looking for special cases, people more equal.

And then the Bolsheviks get appointed their special overseers, which become lords, which become cunts.

Peasant eat each other. The party honcos eat cavier.

Get well soon TMT!

I am trying my best. It is surreal that I have no concious control over the bits of me that are fighting this virus. I think they may have given up. I think nuclear buttons should be kept well away from people who have the flu.

If you can also self identify a level of merit then that's the last piece of the jigsaw.  Then there's not even a need for an interview.

They're arguing about irrelevance.  It is actually the curse of the political class -- to debate more about the political process that the real-world.  Anyway, I'd leave them to it -- it's better that they're wasting time worrying about about that than about anything that actually matters.

So what is gained by being a member of a minority? Who decides what constitutes a protected minority? Is there a list somewhere? Can anyone join a minority? Which is the most advantageous minority to join?
This is how I see it :-
      To be gained :-
Kid gloves treatment by the media, police and courts to the point of almost, but not quite, being above the law.
Occasional advantages in obtaining employment for large organisations with HR teams looking to give themselves SJW points. For small organisations you may be at a disadvantage.
Preferential treatment by the social housing and benefits systems.

Who decides what is a protected minority?  Is there a list?
No idea - the SJW Twitterati? How did pikeys get the status FFS?

      Can anyone join a minority?
In some cases it seems so, others not. If I buy a caravan and have no permanent home, do I have pikey status? If I declare myself a woman on Thursdays like the politician who did so, it seems I don't have trans status.

Which is the most advantageous minority to join?
Well here it gets really tricky. If I become a born-again Christian, get shiny eyes  and wear crucifixes in the workplace(or even just the crucifix), apparently I am not in a minority but am oppressing others and making them uncomfortable. But if I wear a hijab, I am in a minority with all the advantages. Even if I live in an area where most women wear a hijab, and am a member of probably the most actively practiced religion in the UK.

So does anyone have any references to the parts of UK law that cover these issues? Can anyone explain it without being too tinfoil hatted?

Seems the "let's all love everybody" infantile level of ideology can't cope with competing claims of rights.  Fisticuffs next year maybe?

Members of lesbian and feminist group Get The L Out demanded to march behind the rainbow flag, which marks the start of the event, organisers said.
The group believes lesbian rights are attacked by the trans movement.
Pride said their behaviour on Saturday was "shocking and disgusting".

Patricia Curtis, of TransPALS said: "It's disappointing that anti-trans activists decided to hijack the front of a parade, an insult to all the hardworking staff in the NHS whose place they stole.
"But their vile stunt failed. London is a place that doesn't tolerate hate."
A "Get The L Out" spokesman said the group encourages lesbians everywhere to leave the LGBT movement and form their own independent movement.
"We oppose the transition of young lesbians on the basis that their appearances or behaviour does not conform to socially accepted images of women.
"The trans movement is a conservative movement which reinforces sexist sex stereotypes."
      https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-44757403

So student union groups are already excluding gay men as being too "privileged"; now you're going to have lesbians excluded for being "transphobic".
There has long been this patronising attitude from the establishment of waving a flag for any right-on cause but the trans movement is shattering this pretty yet naive rainbow flag into a shower of multicoloured splinters.
Love the pacifying and inclusive language from the spokesperson.

And because somebody always posts the same picture on these type of threads I will get it out if the way on the OP:
