Is Farage planing a come back

Recommended Posts

He'd better be planning something!  Don't like the bloke but he is needed right now, in the absence of anyone better to lead the Leave campaign, people are beginning to realize it didn't end with the referendum vote. Has he got any big-money sponsors to fund a new party? UKIP have killed themselves off IMO.

Looks like Henry Bolton's days are numbered. I'd like to see a new single issue Leave party formed with a constitution to do one thing only - leave the EU on WTO terms then immediately call a new general election and disband itself.

Sounds like the anti EU side of British politics is being purposely dismantled, without UKIP we are surely about 90% remain in our active politicians/parties - as such the Tories have nothing to fear by veering the other way in the Brexit negotiations.

Easy to dismiss them but UKIP could be a force, they're the biggest party when on a straight ballot as the previous EU elections in 2014 shown.

Unfortunately they're just not bothered or stable enough locally. They did have a pretty decent councillor base on which to build momentum and fight from there - but in the elections I've seen this year, they're not even on the ballots. They'll always be in the wilderness if they dip in and out when they feel like it.

As long as the eu exists there'll always be a political force within the UK wanting to remain or join so there'll always be a justification for an independence party.  I think it was a big mistake for UKIP to effectively dip out after the referendum.

On the other hand it did give the Brexit negotiators enough rope to show their hand and their true colours in the negotiations.

So, Henry Bolton has announced that he is staying as UKIP leader

Despite all the resignations

His plan to keep power is to call upon all Leave Campaigns over the next month to unite to pressure Government to deliver Brexit.

Is he delusional and having a breakdown ?

Anyone else think the 25yo blonde was possibly paid to get into his pants then his head then discredit him by sending dodgy messages?

Bit tinfoilhattish but for some reason it was the first thing that popped into my mind when this story came up.

I did wonder that. In my experience attractive 25 year old blondes do not generally take much interest in right wing politics or their middle-aged male exponents. It's not as if he was a genuinely powerful or high status/rich male either.

Nope. The fact that he got voted in a short leader, despite sounding like a LibLabCon candidate, aroused suspicions of sabotage.

Yes that's what I was thinking.

Think Farage is interviewing him on lbc at 7.

he gave him a mild roasting.

I thought Nigel seemed most interested in the fact that Bolton was going to come up with a new constitution within 4 weeks, not what Nigel wants perhaps.

It's precisely what I thought when I saw them ... either that or she was just determined to get her 10k from selling  a kiss-and-tell story and 15 minutes of fame...

Nige hates the UKIP NEC (Hamiltons etc), so if Bolton is gonna take them on in an EGM, then he may go easy on him for the time being.

If Kassam Banks and Farage get their shit together they will finish UKIP in 6 months flat. Kassam is the guy Brexiteers should pin their hopes on i think. He's mustard. And he's Asian.

Absolute Kryptonite for the MSM soul.

Channel 4 have an upcoming feature length "movie" starring Benedict Cumberbatch about the referendum.
Any predictions on how good or bad it will be and which side it will portray as right/wrong?
