Far right terror threat growing

Recommended Posts

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-43200966

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley, who will retire from the Met Police next month, said four extreme-right terror plots were disrupted last year.

Ten Islamist-inspired plots have been foiled since March last year, he added.

In a speech made at Policy Exchange, the Met Police's Mr Rowley also warned that far-right extremists are working in similar ways to Islamist extremists.

He said they create intolerance, exploit grievances, and generate distrust of state institutions.

Ten conspiracies of an Islamist nature were stopped since the Westminster attack.

"And I can tell you today that over the same period police have been able to prevent a further four extreme, right-wing inspired plots in the UK."

Far Right plots! Honestly, they really think we are stupid.

BBC did a report on hidden unregistered schools, managed to go big on the Jewish problem!

The more they do this, the quicker they lose all remaining vestiges of credibility.

I'm extremely cynical of this. These people will have been charged and in court. Anyone remember one ?

One loon a few weeks ago who was "going" to attack a gay parade because he was a reformed bisexual.  If he did turn up, which was unlikely, he probably would have been beaten up; some gays are hard bastards. It's all that time in the gym.

It's very easy to make grandiose claims of achievements just before retiring and without anything of substance to back the claims up.

Give people all the details and what action was taken if only for credibility's sake.  As all involved will have committed crimes let people know the results of the trials and when the outstanding trials are scheduled.  Without all the full details it can only "create intolerance, exploit grievances, and generate distrust of state institutions".

If they were only "disrupted" does that imply that they might still be ongoing but "monitored".  Monitored like the Manchester bomber?

Reformed bisexual - that's a good one for a BBC application form.

But but they balanced it out by having someone with a beard on there to

I found it incredible they could get an "expert" to deduce what they did from some video taken from a distance through a window with no sound utter fucking bollocks

IMO all faith schools should be closed regardless of the religious leanings

This suggests political motivation. Considering we have a right wing government in place. What exactly were they plotting to do that makes them far right wing?

Goose step through Parliament square I believe

It is usually fairly straight forward to prevent a plot if you are heavily involved in instigating it.
