Inoperational Bumblebee

I got myself a new Pi last week.

If I get chance I'll have a play this weekend; highly likely as I notice it has the Amen break built in. :D

[EDIT] Shit the bed - there's a 303 synth in there too.

Is that Thomas Dolby's gran?

Daphne Oram. Electronic music pioneer and co-founder of the So-Called BBC Radiophonic Workshop. Some of the stuff she built is on display at the Science Museum.

She looks more like Florian Schneider of Karftwerk, than Thomas Dolby.

To hear her play is poetry in motion.

I don’t think we’ve had a sixties songs thread. Apologies and merge if there is.
Here’s one I’ve just listened to now. I love everything about this song. One of my all time favourites from any era.

Heads up an evening of Depeche Mode starting shortly on #BBC4.
One of my favourite bands Some great tunes over many years. Loved the early 80s stuff like See You, Blasphemous Rumours, Shake The Disease...
