This is the third time that Miss Wellhausen has been turfed off an allotment – firstly in Stoke Lane and then at Chandos Street.

The medical herbalist, who has been gardening for 20 years, has rented the plot for over a year and in that time has grown an apple tree as well as cherry and hazel plants.

She's grown a lot of weeds too.

Lots of people asking on one group for photos of her plot - because that's the way to judge whether the committee have been fair.
SHE REFUSED.

The photos in the paper look like a complete weedy mess. Likely to cause nuisance to other plot holders.

So what was the outcome? Am itching to ask the association but suspect they've probably been hounded a bit by the press as it is.

I was always told there was plenty of "agro" and "argy-bargy" within the traveler community.

But they're a bunch of pussies compared to you mental allotment bastards who get to camp on your own piece of land...

;)

How the fuck can you grow an apple tree and a cherry tree in one year.

The journalist is a fuckwit and the purple haired woman is a looney tune.

It does seem that there is a market for two types of allotment..  one type that is immaculately kept and weeded.. the other for lazy gardeners who just want a bit of land to plant a few things and have a much more relaxed approach to weeding and general upkeep.

Perhaps on existing plots all of the former could be relocated to one end,  and all the latter to the extreme other?   Would that keep everyone happy?

Looks like she bought a fairly large tree, did she have it craned in?

You're best finding a site that's a mess if you want a plot that's a mess. People who don't grow weeds don't like them.

I suspect right now our site is one of the messiest in the area. People haven't come on for months because of the shit that they've had off her.
