Fraud committed

Recommended Posts

I am currently abroad. I left my car at the airport with valet parking. I left my work phone in there. Someone has used it to buy stuff off eBay using my account. Phone was unlocked but the SIM was removed.

I have informed PayPal about the fraudulent usage, and am awaiting a reply.

Things have been ordered to Surbiton which is very close to where the car will be parked.

I'm sure that PayPal will refund the monies £250 worth so far as I have only ever had deliveries to Midlands in the last 15 years and my passport can show where I have been.

I really want to sink the dirty bastards who have searched through my car when I have paid them well to look after it.

I'm looking for creative ideas to do as much fucking damage as possible to this responsible.

So far I have the company name, directors names, photo of car on departure, number and signature of driver, receipt and online booking details of larger company which has sub contracted the work.

I'm relying on the hive mind as I am fuming and don't want to go off half cocked and fuck it up. I'll be back to the UK in a few days time.

Any suggestions welcome.

Get the address they've used off ebay get an empty box for some expensive electrical goods, have a massive shit in the box, add some sort of firework device that will detonate when the box opens, then send it to said address.

And get shot by the police when they track down the terrorist who's sending parcel bombs.

Small claims for full cost of parking, loss and more against whoever you paid. Spread the pain

They are all going to get some believe me, I just want it to be as hard and shitty as possible.

Not letting it ruin my trip, just getting it off my chest. Even if Ppal don't refund me I'm sure I can get the money back somehow.

I want some genuine creativity for nailing these bastards in a watertight way.

Is there a risk you come back to a car with a smashed window and they say it's been broken into in whatever field they dump the car in?

Really think it's a major flaw in ebay's security that they don't require a fresh log in of both ebay and paypal to change a delivery address.

If the phone's still in the car when you get back, might be worth putting it straight into an evidence type plastic bag so the police can scan it for fingerprints/DNA? One of those bags they provide at airports for putting fluids through security would be ideal.

But also, what are you doing leaving your phone unlocked, and your paypal account linked to your ebay account without requiring a password to authorize payment? Asking for trouble. It only takes a second to unlock your phone with a 4 digit pin, but it'll put off anyone who doesn't have 6 hours to sit there trying to get into it by brute force. My phone fell out of my pocket once while I was getting out of the car, I found it 2 hours later in someone's front garden round the corner, where the potential thief had thrown it in disgust when he found he couldn't get into it easily.

Ok, I hadn't really thought that through a sad indictment of the times that you can no longer send exploding poo to your enemies.

Have to go for plan B - take a load of empty glass jars with you into the bath then bubble your farts into the glass jars then pump into an airtight box then send that. Also don't forget to leave one filled glass jar upside down on the edge of the bath for your wife or girlfriend to enjoy when they tidy up the bathroom.

I still like plan A. Besides, I think police marksmen are overrated.

Tip them off to HMRC.

Chances are if they are doing that sort of thing their books are not going to be in the best order. Anonymous phone call saying that the books are being fiddled.

Even if the books are in order (which I doubt) then they'll have to go through the ball-ache of an audit.

Keep it legit and take great pleasure as the strong cock of HMRC fucks them rotten. *

*Hopefully.

Hang on a minute.

Annoying as this is:

It isn't personal

You haven't suffered physical harm

You should get your money back so probably have just suffered inconvenience rather than loss.

I'd report it to PayPal and the police with your suspicions, fill in the forms, and be done with it.

Have a cold lager in the bar and enjoy your holiday as a time of relaxation, don't let them spoil it by fuming about revenge that won't happen.

Tip of the iceberg, they've probably uploaded all the nude pictures of his wife, to a revenge porn site, as a minimum.

From experience a lot of these parking valet companies use a lot of "unregistered" labour. The one I used to use regularly at Luton had the guys living in a caravan on the site. Got to know a few of the guys (Nigerians mainly) and they told me they were paid bugger all so I don't doubt they were also on the take if they saw something sellable. You could get the addresses the items were delivered to and pop round for a little chat to find out which ethnic group they belong to help narrow down the person responsible for nicking the phone. If you are very lucky the phone will innocently be left in the car as if nothing has happened and the plod might be able to grab some prints if they can be arsed, which I doubt.

As the others say enjoy the holiday then deal with it when you get back and pin lock your fucking phone from now on!!!

TBH I've never fancied leaving a car at one of these places. I don't think you'd have to leave anything as tempting as a 1961 Ferrari GT California to ensure it was thoroughly ragged, to and from the airport, and returned with a suspiciously high mileage.

I had a 10 year old dented rust heap and the valet people used to laugh when I told not to bother with the car condition report they give you when you check the car in. If I had a nice car I would never leave it at one of those places.

As the parking company will no doubt only employ card-carrying ISIS members, be prepared to yourself be on the terror watch list, AK47s having been bought on the dark web and delivered to your (empty) house, which will also now be burgled, which you will never see again anyway, due to your arrest on the plane as it arrives back to U.K. for all of the above.

Have a relaxing holiday, you will need it!

Does this mean they've got my cock pictures too. I hope the one with my asus/ball bag chain is enjoyed.

For all the supercilious help, I locked my phone in the centre console, paid someone to look after the car and used a reputable company, so I could take an old phone away which should save me losing anything important. I also have internal and external GPS data cameras fitted to the car so hopefully that will provide any data required. That is unless the thieving bastards have had them too.

I am not going to go all Charlie Bronson over a few quid and I'm not ruinning my holiday either. I am just of for a days shopping in Bangkok with the family and have booked into a lovely hotel for some pampering before return.

I for one didn't mean to sound supercilious, sorry if it came across that way. Of course you have every right to expect that your car and property should be looked after, and this is bang out of order.

However, there are myriad other ways to lose your phone or have it stolen from you, and given that fact, not setting a pin to unlock it and also not setting ebay/paypal to require a password to authenticate purchases is basically inviting trouble, in exchange for a miniscule time saving. I've had various accounts of mine compromised, fortunately without any financial losses, so I've now taken appropriate measure to secure my accounts properly. Live and learn.

BUT for next time:
You can only have your phone nicked from your car if you've left it in the car. If you swapped sims at home then you could have left the good phone at home.
