Anyone else want to see Anthony Joshua twatted?

Recommended Posts

It's such an odd sport.

A good boxing match is one of the most exciting things that you can watch; far better than MMA which is mostly grappling.

Yet there has never been a concerted attempt to pull it together into a proper world series type showcase which would draw massive crowds.  Too many backroom deals, corrupt promoters and judges, and general dodginess.

I'd love to see him twatted.

Hopefully the Klit will do it tomorrow night, but I'd particularly enjoy seeing it done by the fat pikey - if he can get his licence back.

Yep - particularly sweet to watch any bigmouthed "I'm a great athlete" type boxer(which is most of them) twatted by the fat pikey, I liked having him around for exactly that purpose.

Apart from Ali Heavyweight boxing has generally been a bore in my experience.

The best era of fights I ever saw were the various welterweight and middle weight contests of the 1980s to early 1990s. Generally the likes of Tommy Hearns, Marvin Hagler,  Roberto Duran, John Mugabi did not duck fights and even 'careful' fighters like Sugar Ray Leonard got in the ring with dangerous opponents. Now champions mainly want to fight stiffs or has beens. For my money Hagler was the best pound for pound fighter  I ever saw box and his fight with the potentially lethal Tommy Hearns the best I watched. Those guys earnt every cent of their purse

By the way, if you wish to watch the Joshua v Klitschko fight for free, and not pay Sky for the privilege, there is another way other than Kodi.

If you have a digital satellite receiver that can be manually tuned - such as my Humax Freesat box, or a PC satellite card / usb stick - then you can.

Klitschko has a contract with free-to-air German broadcaster RTL. The fight will be shown on there unencrypted.

You will need to move your dish a couple of millimetres to the left - and I would advise you scratch some marks on your dish bracket so you can put it back where it was after the fight.

Your Sky and Freesat signals come from Astra 2E, 2F and 2G at 28.2 degrees East of South - but you need to get your dish pointing at Astra 1K, 1L, 1M & 1N at 19.2 degrees East of South.

Set your receiver to Transponder 89, Frequency 12187.5, Symbol Rate 27500 and FEC 3/4 and turn on a connected TV. I put one in the bedroom window so I can see it from up the ladder.

Loosen the nut and bolt that allows the dish to move left-to-right, and very slowly move it to the left. From memory, you will see a channel appear within a millimetre or two, but that is not the right satellite, keep moving slowly and the second one is RTL. They have an on-screen graphic (DOG) so you'll know when you've got it. Tighten the nut and bolt.

Turn the TV sound down, and tune a DAB radio into Radio 5, and you'll get English commentary. Sometimes the sound is a little out of synch - but it was spot-on for his fights with Fury and Haye.

Enjoy watching Joshua getting twatted...!

XYY

EDIT: In the last house I did it from the bedroom window as the dish was close enough - i.e. from BEHIND the dish. My original post therefore said move your dish to the RIGHT - which it is from BEHIND the dish. From the FRONT though, you move the dish to the LEFT

EDIT 2: DAB radio is important - if you tune-in on AM it will be more likely out of synch with the TV picture, as well as sounding shite.

EDIT 3: Ignore EDIT 2 - and the second-last line of my post - if you don't need English audio because you're a German cunt....

The sport of boxing is a bit mmmwah.

I liked the early Tyson stuff. Less boxing, more slaughter.

I remember someone shelling out for a Tyson fight on Sky about 1990. The programme was over four hours and he'd recorded it all and was touting the tape round if anyone wanted to borrow it. Nobody did as the fight had ended with a knockout in round two and that had been on the news.

http://cricfree.sc/boxing-live-stream- There`s normally  multiple streams with cric on each stream on that page  i think sports devil hosts cricfree in the app the same as stream hunter if using Kodi

Do you know what you are doing in Kodi - i.e. install add-ons manually - or are you a beginner...?

If you know how to get add-ons. then Sports Devil, Zem Sports and Phoenix are pretty good.

If you are a novice, then install a "Wizard" that will then let you load bundles called "Builds" that contain all the popular add-ons effortlessly. Most of the boxes being sold down the pub are put together this way. Google "Ares Wizard" and follow the instructions...
