      Thought I would start a wine thread as I have been getting into my wine recently. I figured I had to cut down my consumption so decided I would up the quality. I find the research quite interesting and spend hours a day at work looking at wine websites. I signed up to the Wine Society just under a year ago and I think it is great, though I am now having to spread my net wider in order to find specific wines. Taste is largely subjective so there is a risk that the whole thing becomes pretentious, fart-smelling nonsense. I do enjoy finding new wines though! Any good suggestions would be welcome, preferably for wines that do not cost the earth. Here is my favourite wine, from my favourite winery, Muga:
