Thought I'd get in early with this one.

It's most definitely a guilty pleasure for me.

It ticks all the boxes of things that annoy me, such as OTT campness, supposed European unity (err Australia???), Graham Norton failing miserably to replace Terry Wigan and utterly shite "Music".

Yet I love it!

So join me later, being a double sad bastard by A) watching it and B) updating here at the same time.

God I fucking hate myself!

Here's to 'nil pwan' for us!!!

The god awful UK one deserves to come last, it's dire. I heard it on the radio earlier today and began to wonder if it would be that bad being fully deaf.

I used to like it but it's way too long now; they need to really cut down the number in the final.

I will however try some of theRadio 2 coverage this evening.

I would say that I like everything about Eurovision bar the songs which I can only tolerate for a bit.  Why can't one of the British entries cover an Adele or Ed Sheeran song and sweep the board?

I quite enjoy Eurovision, long gone are the day when did well. Though the material offered is a bit pants, this from the greatest music nation ever (certainly for its size).

It has unfortunately become a bit of an agenda/SJW-fest.

Quite a bit of cultural merging; the contrasts used to be what  made it, and songs you couldn't understand

One would have thought that having given the world Lennon and McCartney (amongst others), then the UK would come up with a half decent song every few years.

I've always liked this one from Moldova a few years ago. Sounds a bit 'art rock/glam rock in places:

I think it was the only time I ever voted for a Eurovision song. :D

XYY's Fascinating Eurovision Trivia #1 - the song that started the 1974 Portuguese revolution.

The 1974 contest held in Brighton was not only famous for ABBA winning it, but also for the fact that a song that finished joint last was used as the signal for kicking-off a revolution in Portugal 18 days later.

Not a lot of people know that...

Crumbs, I thought I'd listen to the Israel chicken dinner because they had been banging on about it on the radio.

What a load of gizzards.

That’s just Phil Jupitus in a frock, surely

If doing badly in Eurovision was in any correlated with revolution we'd be a republic by now.

WTF? Is that some sort of parody? James Corden in a dress.

Lol, they are presenting it in English yet the UK is leaving the EU!

I bet that sticks in the throat of the EU!

I don't mind a bit of Eurovision in a soft porn type way.

Graham (to one of the four female presenters) : "Where is the rest of your dress?"

xD I like his catty remarks.

Find him deeply unfunny. Gets on my thrupennies.

Though the Ukrainian song was v good. Especially for a 100-1 shot.

The Spanish one sounds and looks like something you'd see in a cheap Fuengirola hotel on a Monday night.

A bit (rather a lot) too chunky for my taste.
