NHS Agency staff

Recommended Posts

This interested me because I know a couple of bank nurses who coined in close to £100K....agency fees on top

"NHS spends almost £1.5bn a year on temporary nursing staff – report

Money could pay for 66,000 qualified registered nurses to fill shortfall, according to research by the Open University"

The people spending OUR taxes are not fit for purpose....and i'd wager might well  own an nursing agency.

A FOI needs to be done on how many of them are
(a) retired NHS staff receiving a pension from NHS
(b) receiving more wages than they would working direct
(c) what shift patterns are covered by agency staff vs full time staff
